when trying to recreate the real visualizer, it would be nice to have the colors in green and only have the top ones in yellow and red for the very loudest ones. wondering if this is possible, would definitely be a nice touch great job regardless on this video
That's a great idea, you can change text color to Gradient, set the top color to red, middle color to yellow and bottom to green, it should give you something like in my screenshot: drive.google.com/file/d/10dcKZyBSf8dp2gvAHKJzZl32re02SSAr/view?usp=sharing
Господи! Наконец-то нашёл ещё один отличный канал среди информационного мусора где растягивают хронометраж рассказывая про ничего! Вы как песчинки золота на приисках! 😁 😁 😁 Спасибо!
Hi EVE! Any tips or tutorial that can get me started on applying sound reactivity to a 2d model? I'm watching different ways of doing sound reactivity to try and figure out a way to approach it. I have a 2d model I've drawn for 4 frames of the mouth closed to open. I'm thinking of using your method, rendering my animation so it's, it's own clip, and tying the write-on to the position on the clip. So, no sound means it's at 00:00 on the clip, and full sound means it goes to the end of the clip at 00:02 (for example). Am I on the right track or could this even work?
The sound/music is used to control the value of a parameter, such as the size of the mouth, to achieve the animation effect, I don't think the method can control the playhead position.
If you use the text+ for the bars, you can change the text color to gradient, or chagne the individual colors for each characters that are used as rectangle bars.
I did this but it is taking forever to render on a new m1 Mac mini (fastest specs). Anyone else have this issue? I had the same issue with the We Suck Less waveform visualizer too, but fusion usually works really good on my computer
It doesn't work quite well with voice over audios, not because of the technique (that's a goal), but because the MIDI converters fail to parse the voice's notes. I tried it with two different converters (the one shown in the video and another one that came up when googling) and got the same result twice (a couple keys on a piano and mostly silence).
If the bars don't show in some part of the clip is it the fault of the song? I tried my best to change it but simply can't. I thought I do some something wrong, but on the other songs it works well and with no troubles
It could be due to some settings in the Midi extractor modifier, such as the event, scale settings etc. You can move the playhead to the part that is not showing the bars, and adjust the settings to see if that helps or not.
You can click the pin on the title to keep it open if you have multiple nodes in the inspector. Or you can change the fusion setting to not auto-close the other nodes, but I prefer the Pin😀
Sorry, this modifier is a builtin fusion tool in DaVinci Resolve, I don't think there are much we can do with it. You may want to try different music/midi and see if they make differences.
i can only do this with MIDI type files? the problem is that MiDI files is only one channel. what i mean is normal mp3 songs with various instruments and vocals don't get good quality in midi. EDIT: watching until the end I understood that the audio viewer/visualizer will imitate/mimic the midi file and not the mp3 sorry =x
Found, I missed the time offset setting for the duplicate node. Cool and creative stuff, though I think I will go on using some Fuse for the audio spectrum.
