Making subtitles for RU-vid is really easy with Subtitle Edit www.nikse.dk/su...
➤But you need to configure it so you can play videos
-Download VLC Portable www.nikse.dk/Su...
-You just need a ZIP of the program
-Extract the ZIP & put it in the same folder as Subtitle Edit (Program Files x86)
-Restart Subtitle Edit
-Options ❯ Settings ❯ "Video Player"
-Change "Direct Show" to VLC
-Browse for the VLC Portable exe file
➤Subtitle Edit
-Drag in a video
-Drag on the waveform to create a subtitle
-Right click & "Add Text Here"
-Or "Add text from clipboard here"
-File ❯ "Save As" to create an .srt file
➤Adding to RU-vid
-Literally just upload the srt file to RU-vid in "My Videos"
-Choose "Subtitle File" NOT Transcript

Hi how can I get rid of the black beam over the whole video so that the subtitles look more integrated in the video and are not underneath of the video with the black beam cutting of the other beams of the video left and right? I'm to stupid to get it done. thx

Not sure if you managed to sort this, but could be the video player has defaulted to direct show. Options-Settings-Video Player, and choose VLC. Hopefully that will sort it :)

ok so how to make the subtitles mold into the video ( MP4) or the RU-vid one but not draging the file ( i want to mold permanently the subtitles into a full movie) how to do that ??
