So, some suggestions. To get a more realistic shadow in Blender directly: create a rough 3d blockout of the character and use the "objects" "visibility" properties in cycles (only in cycles) to disable the "camera" option so the so the shadow is there but no blockout. Also, use render layers. The foreground and background can be on different layers and be added and blurred in the "compositor" in blender. Also, you can also add the original photo and background stock pictures in the compisitor although the controls kinda stink.
Sure, you can learn all the 3D skills in the world on RU-vid but maintaining a positive attitude while trekking through the endless desert of troubleshooting is truly remarkable. The positive attitudes you and your wife maintain within every topic on here are this channels best quality. 👏
You guys have the best photography/editing tutorials on youtube. Usually I have to go to multiple vids but with you guys one vid explains everything about a topic. Straight to the point, making complex things simple, and also giving so much value. Im grateful for you guys!
**hi Svetlana, Bennie** I've been watching, sharing and supporting your channel for roughly 7 years now. I just don't usually comment/can't afford to "join" any channel (sry)Anyway, **I need to know if you are using normal plastidip on translucent foam or if it's a special sealant?? Like a clear one??** Like you used clear contact cement before-. Pls pls answer my question if you see it, I don't have time to go back through all your videos for the answer O.o
Здравствуйте Svetlana, could you please make a video on shaping foam using heat (for example if I need to shape foam into a hemisphere then how would I do it using heat? If you already have a video, please send me the link. Thanks you so much.
Hello, I think cosplays are just too expensive and I've seen "tutorials" from you and others, but none for a Yoimiya cosplay. Do you have any recommendation to get started so that I can someday make a Yoimiya cosplay myself?
Hello Madam, I have been following you and your husband for a long time. I am always impressed with what you achieve. and I think you are certainly used to receiving congratulations. now I have a problem I am a meticulous person like you but I can't do itmy cosplay of (star kiler) is a very particular star wars character and land of video games I would like from you if it will be possible to have advice or if I have to go through you to make it happen. cordially and bravely. mr laute yvan
hey , can you tell me where i can buy movement elektronics and stuff like that , I'm thinking of maken a clone commando cosplay from star wars . its for the led lichts in the visor and side lamp on the helmet , and for the knife that hides in the hand armer part . thanks
Additional suggestions: For superior lighting consider using and HDRI to replicate lighting of real world locations or make an HDRI from a similarly colored location. (clay pit?) Additionally cutting out the costume from the background and feathering using Blender's masking. You can even use a chroma key to make things easy when using a green or blue screen.
Interesting video! Definitely something I want to play around with. Traveling everywhere for the perfect location isn't always an option so this could be a great alternative for the occasional creative post.
I love the graphic editing videos the most. This has some great tips, I would love to see you show your keystrokes for these editing videos. It would help a lot for a beginner to blender like myself.
i'd love to see a similar style video but with unreal engine. i think it has a lot of potential with video as well as photos and would love to see the comparison between the two softwares, you did awesome in this video, Benni! :D
First go to "view -> front" then add image as plane. When you add it from your current view it will just place it somewhere totally crooked I the 3D space
this looks great thanks for the tip. Quick question do you think you can teach us how to make different kind of foam claws? If so that would be great.😀
Kamui, i love you cosplays especially the special effects ones, i am actually trying to make a mini smoke machine vooe my cosplay, but i cant let it work. Also because the vape you used in the video isn't available anymore,🥲 so i was wondering if you could tell me how to make a smoke machine with another smog machine, q16 vaporizer is the obe i used
yess this is so awesome!! I want to take my cosplay pictures a bit further and this helped alot! thank you!! hope to see more tips on editing pictures!!
ahh this is insanely good! i was looking for something like this as a tutorial and now i that ive found this i can start my journey and elevate my editing through blender! tysm!
Min 3:30 Damn, you also have to say which keys you use to do that or show it. resize = S, move = G etc. You talk way too fast, don't explain things precisely or incompletely and make way too big leaps. you can't follow at all. Is still dont understand how did you rotaded the image. How did you change the position of the camera?
