It’s a simple Hair BSDF, if you click surface in the material settings you’ll see it there. Alternatively, you can go to the shader editor and just plug a Hair BSDF node into the material output👍

the thumbnail and intro looks nice, the final looks meh

Because the thumbnail is a render, the “final result” is in viewport display

Problem solved ! For some reasons, the Bake was interrupting the render

First, ensure you've checked the "Hair Dynamics" box to enable the hair physics. For the movement, you must set keyframes. If you'd like to just have it spin in place as I've shown in the intro: 1. Select your object, press N to bring up the side panel and go to the item tab. 2. Hover over the Z rotation value (which should be set to 0, if not CTRL + A -> Apply rotation), and press I over it to set a keyframe (Box should turn yellow). 3. Then move the timeline forward however many frames you'd like, type 360 in the Z value (for a 360 spin), then press I over it again to set another keyframe. 4. Press play and your object should spin along with the hair dynamics, although this does require a bit of computing power so be aware. 5. (Not necessary step) By default the rotation is set to Bezier which is slow to fast to slow movement speed. If you want constant speed, select both keyframes in the timeline, press T and select linear interpolation. Hope this helps, let me know if it works!

I've tried it, and it works, it is not quiet similar to yours but I just made a 20 frames animation, but I could see the fur moving 🤣 But I have a little issue: at some point the sphere is dropped from the fur, it is like the fur lost its "bone" and everything collapse, I don't know if I was clear to explain it... anyway,... thanks again, I'm going to follow all of your tutorials! 😎

I think I've found the problem... In the Scene section it is ticked Gravity properties and the Z axis was set a number different from 0 m/s²... now nothing is dropped eheheh

what rendersettings are you using?

how would you see the same object in real life with no light in the room?

ctrl + a all transforms, set origin to geometry, try that :)

too vague to help... but do you have lights in the scene? are you using world light or a light you put? which type of light it is? how much is the power of said light? too many thing to consider, so if you give some info...

@@CarlosSaulRodriguezA I have tried every type of light and they work perfectly well on every object except on the fur, it stays all black.
