I'm so happy to bring you this create this book video this week! I am really loving the prompts in this book because they make me think and imagine beyond my own limitations, and I really love that little creative push to see what I can come up with!
This time I really wanted to experiment with making my pages interactive and having elements that could move. I feel like even as a full time artist this is so much fun to do and such a nice little break to take, I definitely things the hours I spend in this book are making me really happy!

With alcohol markers, you need to make sure that the area you are going over again is still wet so it won't turn out streaky. It's kinda tricky. More layers or pencils on top can minimize the streaking if it already looks streaky. LOVE your art and Create this Book 3 :)

I love the interactive elements added. It's almost like treating it like a rule for your book (like the prompt in CTB1) but more interesting than just making sure add a doodle of something on each prompt. My rule for my CTBs (which I carry over through 2 & 3) is to treat my book like a story so that if I ever finish, I can read through my CTB like an actual story. I like Shhhhpike & the mouse (it's almost like the weightlifter mouse is on the other side of the stained glass). Not sure what a good name for the purple creature could be, but maybe something related to the paint water or something because it sorta matches the purple the water's become (Inky? Drip? something along those lines?). It also reminds me of a purple sea angel with its shape and the fact that it's hiding in water (clione, pronounced cli-oni/Cleo-knee I believe, is another name for sea angel I think). Also another Create This Book live would be cool! Sadly I missed the first one. ^^;

Hey Frankie! Thank you so much! ❤️I’m so amazed an curious about your CTB rule! Such a commitment and so much fun!!! 👏🏻 I’d never seen these sea angels before wow! They do look like Lusamine (that’s her name now!) and guess what? The scientific name for them is “Clione limacina” which kinda sounds like Lusamine right? So funny someone else suggested that name for her and I instantly loved it! 💜 Thanks for your support! Next CTB already in the works 😊🙏🏼
