genuinely really love that tom almost always chooses to give a massive spotlight to smaller indie games, ive been introduced to some of my favourite games of the past few years through toms vids thank you as always tom! one day ill be able to support you properly, more than just liking and commenting.
You've been doing a fair amount of city builders! I recommend Against the Storm, it's a rogue like city builder where each level lasts an hour or two, and feels like the beginning of anno over and over, with great replay value
I always love the games Tom plays but where does he find them? They're all so interesting but when I look for new games its always just the same old ones
Gotta be plugged in and apply for things in advance... I'm sure Tom gets some opportunities through the Yogs but he's surely also got some direct lines with devs he likes working with. Every time I find a new game and play it before Tom makes a video about it I have a mini party to celebrate being ahead of the curve 😅
Fire and wind come from the sky, from the gods of the sky. But Tom is your god. Tom, and he lives in the earth. Once, Yogs lived in the Earth, Conan. And in the darkness of chaos, they fooled Tom, and they took from him the enigma of steel. Tom was angered. And the Earth shook. Fire and wind struck down these giants, and they threw their bodies into the waters, but in their rage, the gods forgot the secret of steel and left it on the battlefield. We who found it are just viewers. Not gods. Not giants. Just viewers. The secret of steel has always carried with it a mystery. You must learn its riddle, Conan. You must learn its discipline. For no one - no one in this world can you trust. Not Ben, not Boba, not Lewis. [Points to sword] This you can trust.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1292 Awwww, what a fantastic little game :D really combining my favourite genres of games with the deck building, rescores management, gods and defence XD ha ha, truly fantastic Along with a really nice cute style, plus seems to be very Celt based which is always fun due to my blood XD ha ha, always enjoy some Gaelic stylings Tom: "Who doesn't love tremors" | Tom, moments later: "Why did I take this" ha ha ha XD I do hope we get more of this game as it was alot of fun indeed
