@@gaya-art it's a pleasure to watch your videos. Texture is one of my favourite art techniques. And I really appreciate that how you try different types of texture techniques.👍😃❤️
I watched them from beginning tO end, I saw so many different possibilities, at the end I was surprised at the orange, I love the orange, love this piece!
Thanks for your time and comment. If you decide to do something similar, you can stop whenever you want, which is why I asked for opinions on whether I should have stopped earlier. Do you agree that paint is never wasted if we get the desired result? Best regards 😊
Thank you for your time and your comment. I appreciate everyone's opinion 😊 I don't really care how much paint I'll use while creating, and yes you have right, I didn't know where I was going. That's how it goes with intuitive painting and that's the best part of it 😉 Painting is healing and I truly enjoy in every step of the process. I like to let the painting guide me and I don't stop until I'm satisfied. If we put aside painting process and paint waste, did you like end result?
Thank you very much for your honesty and comment 😊 I respect everyone's opinion very much. We are all different in many aspects of life and we all have different preferences in any given area. By my humble opinion, it would be absurd if we all like the same things, wouldn't it? Art is a broad field and we can't be exclusive and say that less is always more. Best regards 😉
This stopped being cool about 2 and a half minutes in. When is enough enough? I mean, you did some really cool shit and then you just shat on that shit. Over and over.
Ahahahaha, you're hilarious 🤣. When I asked "Should I have stopped earlier", I didn't expect to get a comment full of "s**t" 😅 Thanks for your honesty. Since it's half cool and half s**t I have to ask did you like or dislike the video? 😆 I don't know is it possible to like and dislike the same video, but in this particular case RU-vid should allow it! 😁 Stay well, Cheers! 😎
@@rodneysmith8565 Thanks a lot for the sub 😊 I hope I'll meet your expectations! Being creative more or less doesn't matter as long as you enjoy the process and have fun 😎
The thing is you can stop at any time with these things , it really makes no difference does it? He says he went too far what if he gave it another splodge o yellow
@@gaya-art I thought I saw it as the banner for the post, I apologise if it wasn’t , but the same observation applies , I find these things very much like a one trick pony , you can splodge paint on and get an effect be happy with it then totally ruin it with the next manoeuvre, then regret that then find a whole new thing emerging and you’ve forgotten about the first thing , it’s abstract so manoeuvre 1 could be the finished article it’s not like your aiming towards something is it m not like representational art , or structured abstract like Klee and Mondrian it’s more random and found like Jackson Pollock , JP didn’t start a whole movement based on dribbled paint though it wasn’t a ‘thing’ that transferred to other artists he was part of a school but again in my opinion it was a one trick pony , he became marketable , that’s the important thing , that’s why they chisled up his work room floor , your apron would have as much aesthetic value but it wasn’t Jackson Pollocks apron . It makes me wonder about the importance of that symbiosis of artist and audience , in the room women come and go talking of Michael Angelo . Art is dependent on consumers of art on trends and chattering classes . Once Rothko has done his slabs of colour their done you can’t do them and have the same acclaim, similarly you can’t paint the cistern chapel or Guernica and to do so you’d be regarded as derivative . The first one out the blocks , that’s what counts, that’s the one people buy supposed originality of conception not necessarily execution. I have just restarted painting and I’m amazed at how the paint paints itself , I’ve given up trying to paint things I let the paint do it’s thing it’s not strictly representational but it’s interpretive and in the same ball park , I don’t know if it’s satisfying though , surprising yes but expressive …don’t know. It’s like a kid that noodles around on his guitar and becomes a mega rock star by doing something fairly easy , next thing is he’s mega rich and worshipped as a genius. , is he likely to be convinced, it’s kinda just what you do , the banality of art ?
@@lupinbrabablebix9840 I'm speechless, I've never seen a comment this long anywhere ever before😬😅👍 Unfortunately I don't understand most of the things you mentioned as I don't know much about art and I do my best to remain uneducated 😉 I need at least few days with Google to decipher your message 🤣🤣🤣 I'm a simple man who enjoys experimenting and who doesn't care about any rules, i respect everybody but i do as i please😎🤘 I'm not someone who can discuss with you about art in this manner because it's quite obvious you are overeducated compared to me 😁 By my humble opinion school kills creativity and it's much more rewarding when you discover some things on your own, purposely or by accident😉
