One of my best friends from primary school is working as a dev on this game. So crazy to see this pop up in my feed. Thanks NL for supporting small studios! ❤
Hey cool, this is a game released by a small developer in the city I live in, Stuttgart, Germany (most famous for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, not really for game dev). They have various dev streams during the week.
Honestly I love to see these types of management games being played by you. Wouldn't mind one bit some type of 3-7 episode series playing games that do well on Northernlion Tries, like The Escaper, or other games that feel unfinished on the NT.
I think the thing you got stuck on was that the shelves (container) and benches (producers) are only able to connect to each other. You were trying to move from new arrivals (container) to a shelf (container) when you should have been moving to a bench (producer) instead. Then again at the end, you moved from shelf (container) to self (container) trying to move the batteries. I think you needed to drag _from_ the bench to the shelf to send the output to the shelf and then drag _to_ the bench from the shelf. Could be wrong I haven't played the game myself.
Why are my workers standing around all the time for? I don't understand why. The shelves aren't filled up and they have a lot of room. But yet they are standing around. Its very irritating.
I went straight out and bought this. Looks great - the UI is very polished and I love pouring time into this kind of game. The misplays hurt to watch, but I know it's harder to concentrate when you're commentating.
@@Northernlion They released a few DLC but more importantly a lot of free updates that made the game a lot better. I searched for the name on your YT channel but nothing came up so I assumed you hadn't played it yet.
It's Ok, you just missed a step. The logistics node. You understand that all tables have an input and an output. The logistics node allows employee's to transfer directly from shelf to shelf, and shelf to pallet; doing the leg work for the assemblers. That's how that factory was set up, so its understandably confusing if you missed it.
NL you should check out Monster Train, it's very much in the same vein as Slay the Spire. Currently in open beta, keys available via their discord server.
I love how he just outright says “I love these games but I do suck at them” no excuses for being bad he just admits he is trash but he is having fun :)
