Hey! Forgot to mention that at 6:46 I had to do a quick-change with the thread because it turned out the kind I bought was too big to go through the needles. I tried going back to it later, but at 11:49 had to switch again because the thicker thread wouldn't even go through the holes in the silver beads. What I ended up using was a very thin beading twine that basically resembles waxed dental floss. You could probably also use dental floss. If you look closely at the work surface, you can see little scraps of thread from previous failed attempts, which unfortunately we had to cut for length and because I was cursing too much. Lesson learned from this video: "simple" does not necessarily mean "easy"! What I ended up doing: 1) Take two long pieces of the thin thread (about 1.5 times as long as the finished bracelet? Maybe more to be safe). Use these two lengths of thread together as one thick thread. 2) Knot the tassel into the middle of the double length of thread. This will anchor everything in place. 3) String beads on one side. 4) Thread one side of the clasp onto the end. DO NOT KNOT IT. 5) Thread the beading twine back through the beads towards the tassel. For as long as you can, try to weave the needle back between the two sides of the thread in between beads, just to make everything more secure. 5) When you get back to the tassel, make a little stitch or two and use a sewing knot to tie the thread off. 6) Repeat on the other side. (Sorry, it's a little difficult to describe, but hopefully with the video it will be clear.) Also, yes, I have since realized that the "blue" beads are actually green.
