Kelly I have to tell you, You are my favourite beader on RU-vid. I’m an old woman now. I learned many years ago. I was taught never to put unsightly knots in our work and always to reinforce our work. Weaving is a huge part of beading. I love all your designs and creations. It’s a pleasure to watch you bead. When I watch others to see them for the design, I shake my head when I see all the threads and knots in their finished pieces and I worry that those watching are learning such bad techniques. Thank you Kelly fir another great video and kit. I really like that you include a printed pattern in kit. Its hard when you purchase a kit, then find you have to download/ print your own pattern. I appreciate that you sell both download and printed versions of patterns. Many of us don't have the means to print a pattern. Some bead places get this, and offer a printed version, it cost more , but its worth it.

*This is lovely piece!* A wee thing: at beginning, it was stated we need a size 12 needle due to sz 15 miyukis needing several thread passes. About 30 mins in, it was stated regarding the minis and sz 15 miyuki, this is the reason we needed that sz 11 needle?
Yes you need the size 12 needles because you will be passing through the size 11 seed beads several times. If you use a size 10 needle it will be too thick and you will have issues going back and adding the embellishements.
