A few years ago I had made a move to west Texas and noticed that I had managed to bring all of my craft supplies but could not find any of my wall decorations or my crosses. I could survive without all the decorations but not my crosses. I had my glue guns and lots of glue sticks. I had to have a stiff base so that they would hang without folding, and since I had just moved I could not buy anything expensive so I went to my closet and took out the wire hangers got my wire cutters and my superglue. Made a flat base and I used freezer paper because that was what I had on hand, and I started making my crosses. Your video now reminds me of what I love to do, thanks so much. I accidently destroyed my crosses - I packed them in a nice flat box with freezer paper separating and packed the box neatly in the back of my truck - I moved to the southern part of the U.S. about 20 minutes from the Mexican border and the heat was so bad on my crosses they melted - I was so sad but I learned a couple of lessons. One was I really don't like hot weather and two if I ever move again with glue crafts "put them in the front of the vehicle.... Thanks for the memories and keep up the great work that you do.
+Donna Cate Aww..thanks Donna for sharing your experience. I'm sorry you lost your crosses during your move. However, it takes a very creative person to think of to taking wire hangers, wire cutters, freezer paper and hot glue to create a cross. 👏🏽 Bravo!! You are awesome! 😊
Thanks, Treshaja, I purchased 5 papier placemats from Dollar Tree with the hope of them getting more in when I needed 6. I were just searching how to make paper placemats and came across your glue idea. Thank You, so much. Hopefully I can assimilate the pattern. luv U Girl! Now, I just need to get some of that parchment paper. TYFS!
OMG, I was just about to buy these same design place mats that are $46.00. I was going to use them to make an accent wall in my bedroom. They are in no particular shape but, OOOMMMGGGG!!!!!!!! I'm going to do this and spray paint them rose gold and hang them on my wall!!! Glue sticks are so much cheaper... THANKS!!!!!
Stunning! A couple of friends and myself host a monthly DIY at our homes. July is my month to host. You've given me the perfect idea for our 6 ladies. This is Awesome! Great idea. You solved my dilemma! As always Thanks!
OMG!!! too cute just too cute. I would have not suspect it was a placement made from a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks and a spray can. A true must do. I will not be buying to placements anymore. Thanks a lot for sharing. WOW!!!
Excellent!!!. This gives me an idea, for a cozy, imitator. Yep... Thanks for sharing. The reason, I say imitators, is because, the tea pot , is used as a decorative item, ONLY. No liquid is ever used in it. I think, i will paint, the cozy too. Much success and respect.
WOW!!! You could also make your own designs to decorate stuff...like the beautiful design you put on your 3rd pumpkin, only MUCH MUCH cheaper! 😃 I think I'm going to try to make some custom monogrammed glass vases to put candles in for Christmas. Paint the vases silver and monogram with gold or black... I'm getting all kinds of ideas now! THANK YOU!!!
Brilliant, just absolutely beautifully done. Funny.. I purchased a gold pressed placemat thats similar to your gold design. NOW I can create my own. Thank YOU!
Girl what am i going to do with you, you are fantastic withyour creations. Just love it and i was looking at the same design on line. Thank you Treshaja.
this is amazing. Also if you want to leave it clear, or you don't want the pencil marks on the glue, you can make the pencil marks then flip the paper over and trace it with a glue gun. This way the pencil marks won't transfer into the glue. xoxoxo LesLee Love you
I created these place mats and they turned out beautiful!!! I wish I knew how to take a picture and share it with you. I painted mine gold and I have had many complaints from family and friends!! Thank you so much!!
Watching your video 2nd time. This is a very good creation. I like it a lot n I'm going to make this for my own use. If all goes well, then i can make for my sister...yes. Tq, tq very much girl.
Love it! I've seen table runners like it and thought of buying one but shoot I could make my own! This also reminds me of another project you made with a gold placemat which I also loved
Genius!!!! I love this idea, it's easy and beautiful. I thought you were going to use wire but then surprised me with a glue gun. I love your ideas and your channel. God bless you!

Amazing!! I saw similar looking placemats in Dollar Tree that I was gonna spray paint for a project, but I like the dimensional look of the glue ones soo much better. Thank you for sharing!!!
