Farm Focus, Series 3 / Episode 2
Karl & Maggie Buhler moved from Taranaki to purchase their farm in Te Puke 20 years ago. They worked to fence their waterways and plant riparian (cabbage trees, kahikateas, etc.) for the past 15 years around waterways on their farm. Personally committed to keeping a tidy farm which protects the environment, they are very focused on nitrogen usage, particularly as their farm has a mixture of high, hill country and flat land. Karl is a vet by trade, Maggie was a teacher in the local school. They have created something truly special.
