Creating a diamond and platinum “U” cut pave wedding ring set 

Fresh off our jewelers bench is this gorgeous custom wedding ring set that we designed and crafted around this 1.8 carat, I color, SI1 clarity, natural diamond.
The rings are cast in a newly developed 95% platinum “ultra hard” alloy that offers increased durability and will maintain a polish, unlike traditional softer platinum alloys, which lose their polish and dull quickly from wear.
The diamonds in the band and shank of the Engagement rings are hand set in an elegant split prong deep “U” cut pave style that shows off the diamonds sides and gives the illusion of the diamonds floating on top of the rings. The six prongs holding the center diamond are each bead and bright set with additional diamonds that are framed with a mill-grained border.
