I’ve been dying to learn how to create my own digitals. But no one has ever wanted to share how to do it until now. Thank you for showing us your version of doing digitals. 👍
I just found your channel and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your procreate tutorial. The best and easiest to follow that I have seen. I have been watching videos for about six months now, trying to learn the program, and you have just answered so many questions I had. Please do more procreate videos.
Oh my goodness, Im so glad it helped you. I have definitely been meaning to do more so I will upload one soon! Thank you so much for joining and watching my tutorials and stay tuned!! Welcome to my tribe!
Great video. I've been trying to figure out how printables are made. Now I just need to figure out what software choices I have in addition to procreate. Thank you for posting this; very good!
Oh I’m so glad I helped inspire you. Fortunately, most of the techniques can be used in any program, its just a matter of learning how to use the tools. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!!
Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed video. I came across Procreate a week or so ago but am still a beginner. I haven’t discovered some of the tools you have used so I am thrilled with what you have shown.
This is really awesome and detailed!!! You do great work and are a wonderful teacher…a lot of included in a short amount of time…quick and to the point
Thank you. Im so glad you enjoyed it and got inspired. Once you learn your tools, the steps are fairly simple. So go for it! Feel free to share your creations on my Feathered Heart Facebook page!!
@@thefeatheredheart9455 Can I ask what you are using to do this? What would I need to buy to do my own digital prints? I have an older (4+ years) tablet. I have been thinking about getting a new one. Is it easier to do on an ipad? Can I even get ProCreate on a non-apple product? You make it look so easy with your little plastic pencil, LOL I am just wondering if I need to start looking into getting some new stuff. You have me very excited about this. I watched another video by someone else but they were using canva or something and getting images that way. And I have been noticing lately that a lot of the digi images some people are putting out look very similar to each other. I want to make original stuff. What do you think? What would be a good device to look into?
Wow! This is a huge help for me! I’ve been trying to use Canva and cannot figure out anything! Where did you say you are getting the images? (Bird cage, filigree, etc?)
Hi there!! I’m so glad it was helpful. I get royalty free images from places like pixabay and freepik. Freepik has some stipulations so just make sure to read their descriptions! Good luck and feel free to follow and share your creations on The Feathered Heart Facebook page!!
Hi Kelly, loved this tutorial. With the burnished edge you imported, I tried searching for it on pixabay but couldn"t find anything. Could you share how to or where you found it please?
Hi!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! I created the burnished edge using my soft brush and then saved it as a png file to use whenever needed. You can do that with anything you create! Save it to use again later! Hope this helps!
I really enjoyed your video and would love to learn how to make my own digital papers that I can print out and use. Not sure how to start or where to find images that I can use or any of those things -- any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, glad you enjoyed the video. You can use any images you want if making papers for yourself. If you want to use images to make papers to sell, just make sure your images are royalty free. A great place to start is Pixabay. The digital program I use is procreate for iPad. But there are a lot of great programs out there depending on your computer or tablet. Have fun and good luck.
@@thefeatheredheart9455 selling are you referring to I create the paper and then sell the paper? I was thinking making the paper and then use it to create a box or cards that I would then sell at a craft fair. Would that be allowed?
Yes, if you want to sell what you create, the images must be royalty free. But there is plenty out there. You can also buy images if it’s worth it to you.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I appreciate the feedback! I typically lower the music when I’m talking so apologies if this video was not edited to that standard. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Great question. I am assuming you were talking about the elements that were coming through the cage details. The cage was already on the top layer but because I lowered it’s opacity, other elements would still show through, even if they were underneath of it. Hope that answers your question. Thank you for watching.
@thefeatheredheart9455 thank you so much for your very quick response. As i was writing the question I kind of answered it myself. I still went ahead as I wasn't 100% sure. Thank you for this video. I don't have iPad but a Galaxy tablet and a PC. But I am thinking some of your instructions are pretty universal and the overall idea is the same. Excited to begin following you!
I made that one myself! And then I saved it as a .png file without any background. That way I can use it over and over again and then just manipulate it to the hue/saturation that I want. Thanks for watching!
Pixabay is where you can get copyright free images. If you are wanting images just for personal use, you can get images from anywhere. But if you share any images that are not copyright free, make sure that you mention the original artist. Have fun and good luck!
