HELLO! THIS IS A MESSAGE TO: [THE MODERN ROGUE] FROM:[COSMIC BACONIANS] SPACE OR ASTRONAUT ICE CREAM IS NOT A REAL THING. NO SPECIAL ICE CREAM EVER FLEW INTO SPACE. ALL ICE CREAM IN SPACE IS JUST NORMAL ICE CREAM. IN REALITY, THE ALL POWERFUL ASTRONAUT BACON IS THE ONLY GOOD MEAL THAT FLEW IN SPACE.
NoppaCraftOfficial why are you writing in all caps. it just looks like you're screaming. why are you so passionate about astronaut ice cream never going to space.
I love this channel because it's like "IT'S SO EASY TO DO BUT YOU SHOULD NEVER DO THIS AT HOME BECAUSE YOU COULD KILL EVERYONE OR COULD GET YOU ARRESTED" on literally every video
My uncle is a licensed pyrotechnician and he always makes these incredible displays for our fourth of July that includes some home made explosives with a secret recipe.... They're about the size of the larger paintbucket you have.... and creates a fireball the size of a house. Dust explosions are no joke!
Bearidan Ampawrawr I'm not sure if this follows this situation but once I was hitting a bong and you bowl shot a flame into my eye, eye brow and part of my hair.
I love the idea of these two drunk and stumbling on this episode of mr wizzard and just going " we have the stuff to do this what's the worst that can happen"
Hey Brian and Jason! I wanted to tell you how much I love the modern rogue! I watch every ep right away! Even in school :P hope you guys are doing well!
I used to do this every halloween. I'd put baby powder in my jack-o-lanterns and blow into a pvc pipe and make the face of my jack-o-lanterns shoot flames. The seal on your paint can doesn't matter at all, what's the most important is making sure 1. your flame is far enough away from your air injector as to not blow it out and 2. blowing as hard and as fast as you can to get the perfect cloud of the air/fuel mixture. This also works with sawdust (or metaldust if you're brave/stupid.) You just want the fuel to be as fine as possible so it suspends in the air and makes a uniform distribution.
Before there were commercially-made model rocket engines, this is what rocket clubs used for solid fuel. Especially popular in the late 1950s, around the time of Sputnik. See this book: www.amazon.com/Rocket-manual-amateurs-Ballantine-books/dp/B0007E5M1Q
great episode! in your episode about the martini, and how shaken not stirred is a mtyh, I recently learned that the reason that James bond orders his drinks shaken is because it waters down the drink, meaning he can drink more of it, without having the effects of the alcohol. just thought you guys would find that interesting.
Another example of a dust fire is Washburn Mill explosion if 1878. The building is still standing (partially) and the explosion occurred when a machine broke and started to catch fire, igniting the fine flour particles in the air, resulting in the almost entire destruction of the building. It is now a museum call the Mill City Mueseum, located in downtown Minneapolis, minnesota
There was also a sugar processing plant in Georgia that blew up with a loud enough explosion that people in the city thought a bomb had gone off and resulted in 13 deaths and 40 people being injured.
I'm surprised this isn't on actual television, it's as interesting as Mythbusters, well-produced and written, and the editing is clean and adds character. Well done, you earned my sub awhile ago. I hope this channel grows.
Hopefully you guys don't turn out like the myth busters. if you didn't know, throughout all these years Jamie and Adam were NEVER friends. it's still mind boggling to me. search up "Adam Savage won't work with Jamie Hyneman anymore" (i don't want to put the link because it will show up as spam).
KaptainKFC you dont have to be friends with someone in order to have a healthy working relationship with them. they respected each other and thats all your really need to have a successful professional relationship
cornstarch is my favorite. dump a couple cups of cornstarch in the tube of a leaf blower. it creates about a 6-9ft pillar of flame. It's fantastic. Also spec ops uses this technique with a small brick of c4 and bag of flour.
Don't throw a dustpan full of sawdust into a woodstove or fireplace or on a fire... bascially you get a nice little face full of flame like flash powder
