Fun fact: Chainsmokers smoke actually does do something mostly it gives anybody who inhales it (for a limited time) the phobia of being trapped like being trapped in a locker and that is Chainsmokers special effect he will force you out of lockers quicker than normal so your theory probably isn't far off. (edit: This is also confirmed by the way)

7:10 Well, uh... One slight problem with that. He didn't exist before the Blacksite lockdown. The variants (Blitz, Pinkie, Froger, and chainsmoker) only appeared after the lockdown, and were never in containment.

Searchlights in 3D is gonna be crazy

The Angler is actually the only Angler that was kept in captivity, the variants appeared after the lockdown. We have no idea how or why, but we know that they didn’t exist before since Chainsmoker produces the same smoke from Paranoia’s Box, a box kept in heavy containment that is covered in invincible chains, making it unopenable. The box produces fumes that when inhaled causes many different phobias, one of them being Cleithrophobia, the fear of being trapped. This fumes must be filtered out through fans and disposed of, or else they will cover the whole facility. After the lockdown, Sebastian came across its containment cell and disabled the fans, which is why we can’t stay in lockers for too long, and why Chainsmoker’s smoke causes us too leave, since the more we inhale it the worst the effects get.

7:00 actually, there is a theory that Chainsmoker is breathing out the Paranoia Box smoke, and the smoke from that box is able to cause several phobias, including a phobia that makes you scared of being trapped, and that is why the player gets out early when chainsmoker passes.

blobfish look like that above water because when they're underwater, their body is constantly fighting against the pressure that comes with being at the bottom of the ocean. So when at the surface, their body has no force to fight against and inflates like that as a result

I would love Pressure as a full fledged triple AAA game. Bethesda could make an awsome game tbh.

Chainsmoker smoking is actually canon as Zeal confirmed that he only smokes fat blunts. (You get banned if you don't draw him smoking one)

i like the idea of him being one of the first creatures contained by Urbanshade, and that's why he's so old and kept in such chains, like there were no better alternatives of how to keep him in place maybe Sebastian just didn't care enough to take them off, while releasing him lol btw, awesome vid, have no idea why, but i kinda feel addicted to watching these

7:12 actually youre kinda right about the actuall lore but the smoke is just sulfur that comes from something called the paranoia box that gives you a random phobia

Fun fact: All of the angler variants are probably a few days or weeks old. This is because after the Hadal blacksite breach, the angler document doesn't register the variants before the lockdown. Meaning that the angler variants were nonexistent until the original angler escaped and "cloned" itself. Still, Your 3D model looks sick and its kinda giving me claustrophobia just by looking at it.

I have 2 theory’s for chain smoker. FIRST chain smokers gas make the target hear things mostly chains. SECOND chain smokers gas was SO toxic that they had to chain is up. Z-13 AKA Sebastian unchained him. Sebastian didn’t take all of it off so the chains shake making the sound of the chains.

i think chainsmoker is what you get when you cross the angler with "box of paranoia" the fact it has green smoke that makes you panic more quickly. the fact that it has a distinctive noise of rattling chains. the fact that the box of paranoia has both of those details. it is an angler that has consumed a box of paranoia. btw, the model looks awesome, like chainsmoker just broke out of the box of paranoia and is now haunting the halls of the blacksite.

My idea was that Chainsmokers smoke was toxic in a deadly way. Which is why he moves slow so he could poison the victims, slowing them down so he could catch them more easily

This isn't entirely related to the video but I genuinely feel bad for blobfish. Imagine being dragged out your habitat and brought to the surface where people take photos of your deflated corpse and turn you into a meme

Tbh hmmm idk maybe he should remake the brown angler even tho its not special the frogger is just funny

Fun fact: the end when it’s sounds like a loud scream and rattling of chains the scream is him screaming because of the chains digging into his skin (they are heavy 100-200 pounds) and chainsmoker is a tiny bit more stronger then the chains (via 120-230 pounds)

You should add a few more chains that are dragging on the floor. It seems which could also add to slowing him down

blobfish look fine in their natural habitat and the way they treat that malformed and "ugly" skin is just unjust. It's as if aliens took a human into space and it crumpled up and looked all ugly so the aliens hated us.

In the game, the smoke makes you scared of closets which kicks you out of the lockers so you do have to wait or you will get kicked out. Also, In the document, im pretty sure it says the angler variants only appeared AFTER the lockdown but idk

Personally my theory for chainsmoker is the smoke he emmits came from paranoias box (the smoke causes phobias including claustrophobia and the fear of being trapped cleithrophobia) my theory on the reason he is so slow is that due to him being a blobfish in a low pressure environment causes him to be extremely slow and he would be incredibly fast outside the let-vand zone (an abyssal trench with the same pressure as a swimming pool after a certan point) (Ps chainsmoker and the other angler variants where doscovered after the blacksite lockdown so chainsmoker wouldnt have been chained by anyone also if yo do pinkie or froger they are both female and the only angler variants that have lures) also if you can please do froger next

My theory of the chains is that the chainsmoker was a lot faster and deadlier without the chains so the researchers had to put chains on it to allow experimentation and testing to go on without risking as much death

My theory I think is the lore is that this guy used to not be a lethal threat until it went to the area the black site is located (water pressure is like a swimming pool), and then he found the box of green smoke,(whatever it’s called doesn’t matter) and inhaled all of it constantly like a chainsmoker (someone who smokes constantly but not one after the other). And he’s slow and such because of the damage the green smoke caused.

I never realized how much lore Chainsmoker has compared to the 4 other Angler variants

Blobfish look weird on the surface because of the pressure you mentioned, which holds their body shape together underwater. When they lose that pressure their body loses its shape. Also their bodies are covered in slime or mucus, which is why they appear super slick or shiny outside of water.

i was thinking about what these guys would actually look like if they were 3d models and this video blew it out the park i'll be watching all the rest of these also i liked what you did with the lips without the mesh it looked very strange

I have not seen chain smoker in game yet

Im pretty sure Chainsmoker moves slower due to deformation from low pressure, since it gets weighed down from extra skin due to deformation, that could be why Chainsmoker could be slower than the others, since the others aren’t affected to low pressure, like Angler, Blitz, and Froger due to them being sea animals that can stand low pressure (pinkie not included due to being “a malformed face” than a real animal), since they can stand the low pressure, they traverse faster in the Blacksite.
