When you are writing your thesis and have been looking already more than an hour for a clear video. This is perfect! Thank you so much Arthur, clear, quick, and effective.
Arthur Bangert. Thank you for your brilliance and accuracy. I spent the whole day headaching on how to get totals for each construct and here you are. Thanks big time
Thank you Arthur. suppose we have 3 main variables (independent variable), (dependent Variable) and (Mediating variable). each variable is measured by some already established and validated scale. and each scale has about 4 Dimensions with about 3 statements for each dimension. and all items were scored on a 7-point Likert scale 1=Strongly Disagree to 7=Strongly Agree. How would be the correct analysis process for each dimension and each scale? and how would be the correlation analysis between the 3 variables? and for the total scores of dimensions/scales, should we use averages (means) or sums and why?. thank you very much in advanced for your kind clarification.
How will you run multiple regression for these variables, which i mean how you will combine into three variables because you have 10 questions for each variables? can you explain please?
I have 5 books for statistics and in non of them this is explained. I want to know why? Big thank you! This is for within-participants design if i understand correctly. How would it be for between?
Dear Mr Arthur, I have done the same with my data. i.e. if the respondent has scored 7 for question 1 and 5 for the second question, the total is 12. The 12 is higher than 7, which is the highest score I have used. When I calculate the min and max for this grouped data, the max is 12. If I am not mistaken the max should be 7, if a respondent has used 7 and not 12. Please help
Can Anyone please explain how to do a chi square test after combining the data. I followed the same step to club different variables in to one main category but i am getting weird results now.
Thanks. Suppose, I want to know the satisfaction level of patients by 15 questions. Value of each question in Likert Scale ranges from 1-5. Thus from 'Compute Variable', by summing up of scores of all questions, I find value of SATISFACTION. Now, I want to divide SATISFACTION into 2: Scores equal or above 60% as SATISFIED and points below 60 as DISSATISFIED. How can I do it in SPSS? Please help me
thanks alot, I was wondering if you could let us know, how to compute different Variables , I mean 4 of them likert with one of them multiple answers (1 to 11).
Hey, thank u for a useful video. I want to create a new variable with different groups. I have 6 different gaming genres with I want to have under one category Calle gaming genre... but I have tried everything and don't understand. Hope someone can help!
