Creating a realistic Lego Red Panda habitat | Bamboo & building techniques 

I think I would like to be a Red Panda there. Lots of vegetation and lots of strange people to watch while chilling on a tree.

I love the angled approach to the whole display, and the jaunty bamboos!

Wow,I love the red panda experience! It’s great having the density of plants with colorful flowers, the ducks, the blue birds, the butterflies, the lady bugs, the bees, the frog, and, of course, excited humans! It’s a whole adventure - hurrah!

My compliments on the progress with the zoo, though it will require a lot of lego bricks to finish. I love the outro with a rather good music track imho. In fact, I'd say the music track ranks as one of the best I've heard out of thousands pieces of music on RU-vid.

Love the attention to detail. It has inspired me to start a farm build of my own based on a small city farm near me. Keep up the great work!

Maxine, you've really out done yourself. This MOC is incredible! From the creative design for wonky bamboo to the use of red armor shoulder pads for flower petals, your wonderful herring bone water effect (with froggie! Yay!) to the overall lush and beautiful layout. So, so wonderful. Your choice and placement of minifigures brings the scene to life in such a whimsical way. Congrats! The little fella at 6:39 is Uka. He's one of thee Ongis ("catfish monkies") from Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, LEGO BrickLink part #69517pb01. There's also Pan (69518pb01) and Dyan (69519pb01) to complete the trio from the film. Uka is quite fitting for your Asian theme, so long as you don't mind his mythical nature. :) Oh, there's also Serlot (19532pb05) and Tuk Tuk (69520pb01), other critters from the film that's made it to LEGO, along with the brick-built Sisu dragon from set 43184. Anyway, I've finally caught up with your videos, and I can't wait to see what you build next!

Your t-shirt made me laugh! I love the 'wonky' bamboo plants definately makes it more realistic! Feel like you should put some butterflies bees etc around the botanical garden part of the zoo.

The angle is perfect! It's very busy but that makes it very cool.

I really loved the way you got creative with the plants, especially the bamboos. Also, the tree looks quite amazing. I just think there are too many minifigures in the exhibit. In my opinion, this is one of the best and the most detailed part of your zoo.

I love it. It's possibly the best red panda enclosure I've ever seen, including the real life ones.

You have packed as much whimsy into that as you have vegetation!

Amazing work in every aspect!! Creative, realistic, fun!! And yes, red pandas are pretty darn awesome!!! Personally, I've got a soft spot for foxes.. but besides the Minecraft set(s!) and a couple minifigs, we don't have an equivalent comparable to the red pandas here? Also a lover of spoods, scorps, etc.. this is giving me inspiration to make a bunch of invert exhibits. 😁

Oh I love that tree! I still don't understand why Lego doesn't do such cool trees in some of their sets - there the trees always look so empty and leaf-less. The habitat looks amazing all together

Fun vid! Wonky bamboo turned out fabulous and the hide-and-seek element is charming. I love the lush, full aesthetic but I can see how it would be cost prohibitive for the entire zoo build. Always a joy to see your work.

One thing that I really do like about your videos is the fact that your sped up building segments show the building, dismantling and rebuilding that we all expereience - I've seen too many where it's edited or re-filmed to make it look like it went perfectly on the first attempt. I love the bamboo technique - I shall keep that in mind for future wonkiness. I think this will be a great exhibition/display MOC; there's plenty of detail and lots of little features that people may not spot straight away. I get the feeling that this will be the sort of build that people keep spotting new things on each time they see it - great work!

I like the habitat but I think that it should just be Red Panda's. Not the other animals like the butterflies, frogs, bees. But other than that its great.
