For those worried about fake references, I think this is where the juice lies: you don't wanna just rely on the AI to do the work for you. You need to actually know what you are dealing with, and it comes down to this: ChatGPT just becomes a tool to expedite your workflow, but you still need to do the hard work of reading.
In my opinion, chat gpt is Like an assistant. It wrote a research paper with fake citations and literature review. Anyone who knows his research area can take it as a skeleton, add and throw unnecessary lines. Add the required necessary llines. Completely relying on AI is not good at all. At the end AI can't replace human knowledge and experience.
@@pensierostrategico It works very well for creating a first rough draft, it is your job to check for errors, accuracy and completeness, and revise the whole thing. I'd suggest that you find the references by yourself. To me, ChatGPT has been a huge help in skipping the writer's block phase when facing a blank page at the beginning of the process. I don't mind to work hard on turning a draft into a well-written document, I just struggle with putting together the draft in the first place
Once such algorithms have access to the bigger scientific databases, the dream of many will be achieved. What will come next? To me, it's funny to see some of my colleagues anxious about gpt, as if fake and/or inconsistent science projects and papers with doubtful literature reviews, weak methodology, and wrong or even not reproducible results (to don't say fake) never existed. In my opinion, in a very optimistic scenario, chatgpt will may cause more troubles than solutions to the people looking to live as researchers more easily. And in a pessimistic, and more plausible scenario, the competent A.I. users, not necessarily the most competent in their expertise area, may help even more the trusting crisis on science due to misleading or sensationalist results in all areas of science which will reinforce as if with steroids, the fake news industry in social media.
Thanks for this wonderful comment, well thought through and extensive. I also don't support a fully fledged AI that can generate research papers out of the blue. However, a tool that can help researchers do analysis of data faster and draw inferences quicker would be good. Thanks once more
Hello mate, thanks for reaching out. I haven't understood your question. You want to cancel AI from your work? You mean cancelling detection that your work is AI generated?
To cancel it, try to paraphrase all Al generated texts, thereafter, use the Al detector software to confirm if the document is free from Al before submitting it. Hope this helps.
#sample write a detailed proposal on the following reasearch topic. make sure it is free from plagiarism. "your topics". im a "your career", so make sure its advanced. add citation to this document.
I paused and read the intro. Its really bad. Its not actually a research proposal. It just describes the concepts. It did impress me how it related two different concepts at one point. But its pretty rudimentary still.
This was a guide on how to apply this tool. I'm uploading another video today detailing how you can use ChatGPT as your research writing assistant. It cannot replace your energy and input but makes it efficient and faster
This is serious. However, that's why it's always advisable to be careful while using it so one doesn't need to solely reply on it and more importantly, it's best to input the citaions yourself or do a proper search of all the citations generated by Al to ascertain it's reliability.
@@AdvancedChatGPT I am following, I've enabled notifications as well, please if you can make it as detailed as it can be with the right prompts, thank you for your effort, cant wait for your new video!
@@dereksmith6097 I am somehow of mixed thoughts on this... It seems unethical but it is available so what to do now... There are so many people with good ideas but poor writing style that can make a good contribution in science. This looks like a girl that is naked to the guy and says do whatever to me. Is it less manly if we bang someone that ask you to do that? I don't know, my thoughts are mixed on this. If you solely rely on doing nothing then real researcher will realize that is fake... This AI system will aid academia and roaches will be busted easily.
@@TheCarlespuyol but if the AI is doing the work for you are you contributing your own ideas first of all? If you are in college and the AI is doing all the work are you learning anything? When you get into the work place will you know what you are doing? There are some BUSINESS use for it I think though
