For all of those wondering how to get the "misc" menu which allows you to toggle the Inverse Kinematics, do as follows 1. Enable the Rigify addon in blender in the Preferences tab under Edit. 2. When you've appended the model and the rig for some reason the script which the Rigify addon uses won't follow so, open up the blender file which you appended the model and rig from, go to the scripting tab, copy the entire script and paste it into your own spiderman project scripting tab. And make sure the ID on line 6 in the script matches the ID of your rig under Object Data Properties/Custom Properties. 3. Run the script, the "Run Script" button can be found in the top right corner in the scripting tab. 4. You're done!
@@martinrekhert5536 If you look at the top part of your window in blender there are tabs labeled "layout" "modeling" "animation" "sculpting" and so on. Here you can find a tab labeled "scripting". And if you can find it you can Always open a new tab on the right of all the other tabs and choose scripting.
Need more tutorials like this with animation, setting up a scene, rendering, etc. Strange how rare they are while we have more than enough donut tutorials out there..
@@SameGProds if it wasnt for his long tutorials that explained the function of every step, i wouldnt be doing blender right now. the start has to be slow...
Thanks for the tutorial! Due to Corona, I have a lot of time at home, so I'm trying to learn Blender. I will probably try to recreate this (and also your old bullethit/brainexplosion tutorial on Corridor) in a couple of days/weeks.
Thank you so much for this. I was literally just wondering how you made such amazing spiderman scenes for cake day and i look u up and find this. Awesome.
If anyone has problems about how to make Spider-man's eyes and other parts visible, Follow the steps: 1) Select spider-man and go to edit mode. 2) Select all the vertices and hit P. 3) Now choose by material. 4) Go to object mode and the problem is solved!
Im subscribing - please keep making awesome tutorials and learning based videos like this series. Keep them long just like this series too, they’re the best. We need more of this material!
Hey man, Im trying to create my own spider-man model- Im wondering how you got the colours to go on the separate texture painted colours? when i try it just goes pink
Hello,I have completely new to blender and I’ve done everything up to this point but I am unable to select his “rig”, when you say to select Spider-Man and his “rig”.none of the yellow rigging shows up physically on/in his body and it is really frustrating because then I can’t select inverse as he says to do.I tried to skip this step and carry on but it is very vital in the animation process as you need to be able to move his body parts with rotation etc.Pleassseee help🙏🙏
How is it possible to take your Spidey model and change the colour of it? Or even the pattern of the suit, is there a way to make a (for example Superior Spider-Man) suit just from this model and hand paint it in Blender?
Ngl I remember paying for the assets and tutorials on your website. Haven't watched this yet let's hope it's different and updated Edit: in this one you show how to create your own assets that's cool
Hey, I’m completely new to blender. Is it possible to turn off the red bumps? Like just having it be red with no patterns? Cause I’m trying to make it match with a suit I have
Guy I really need ur help I imported the spidy as trusted source but the rigg script in now working I'm unable to move the hands while in pose mood some of the legs and hand are moving but some are not how do I get the main properties of rig please help ASAP
Peter, you should use the Node Wrangler addon (comes free with Blender) to easily viewable different nodes in the shader and compositing layouts. Not just for viewing, but it has lots of other little shortcuts there too.
Peter France Ctrl + Shift + Left click on the node you want to view. It’s easily the most simple, yet time saving tip, in Blender. Also, if you have a texture set downloaded, or saved out from Substance painter, you can select a Principaled BSDF and Ctrl + Left click (I think, I’m not at my computer right now) and it’ll open a window browser. Select all of your texture maps, hit okay, and it will automatically plug everything into the correct inputs. Super handy. Ctrl T click also adds a mapping node to any node you click on. I’m sure if you search for a quick intro to node wrangler on here you’ll get a ton of the shortcuts.
How can ı import this spider man model and textures for unity ? I really need help. I am making a spider man game based on swinging. I want to use this model with textures for unity.
So, for this tutorial series, could you repeat it and make multiple animations, and then cut/string the animations together to make a bit of a longer one (I’m really new at animation and blender, so don’t really know much)?
I wanna ask is this a skill or a talent what should i think doing belender and vfx are just a skills which we learn and then forget about it or this is a telent where we can make our carrer in that and earn money more than an enginner or a doctor .
When I click n the "misc" panel doesn't open, only "items, tool, view" opens, what shall I do, how can I fix it, I've been searching this problem for over a week, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Click where it says "Object Mode" in the "3D Viewport" and change it to "Texture Paint" and just color in the black part. You will have to mess with the radius of the brush first tho.
I have a question, when you place the character into the scene he appears without the colors on the suit, but in part 2 when you placed it the suit looks great with all the colors and textures, what do i have to do?, when i place spider-man into the scene he appears with the controllers of the rig and the whole body is gray
I've spent nearly 5 hours on this tutorial and it makes no sense to me! It won't let me add spidey and the building files together. And if you try just animating spidey on his own- there are no keyframes! HELP!
