@@michelehemlokhexwhite4310He didn’t sue for that money back! He sued for defamation and time wasted. If he would have sued for the money he was rightfully owed for doing the work, he had every legal right to get that money back. He said he didn’t fight it when she went through the credit card company because he just wanted it to be over. But nobody ever gets money because they missed work or their son’s game to come to court! The judge makes rulings based on actual law-not just feelings.
bw loves to compliment each other, do yall just have very low selfesteem or something? weaveheads be like this everywhere.... the bm is a victim here, but yall just love to be victims. this is why i never date yall i go for the latinas, real hair, no drama or thievery
As a web designer/developer I've had to deal with clients like this. They want you to create something out of nothing. He needed images of the exact items, a description of each item (solid gold bracelet, ivory earrings), etc, price of each item, sizes (e.g. 22 inch necklace), payment portal information, etc. She was so excited about starting a business and getting a website that she couldn't bother to completely fill out his form & give him materials for the site. Unorganized clients are the worst type of client to have. They he fact that she wanted extra money shows she hasn't a clue and was a complete waste of time!
Been in the same position! They just give some vague "I want something" and it's like pulling teeth to get any copy and then they get upset when the site is basic. The plantiff might want to come off as some driven 21 year old but the fact that she's smiling while wanting him to pay for her fuck up and not understanding how it's her fault show's she has no experience in business.
I agree! I hope she grows up some and keeps her drive but loses her pride. She’s a go-getter, but I don’t think she’s going to make it very far treating people like this. I wish he would have sued her for the money she got back through her credit card instead of the defamation/wasted time. I would have liked to see him paid for his work!
I'm an accountant and I've literally had to tell clients that I cannot extract information from their brain and file returns without information! The customer is not always right!
People shorten that saying a lot so that it’s misunderstood and misleading lol the saying is actually “the customer is always right in terms of taste” !! That’s so different than what we understand the saying to mean lol
YES!!! I’m so frustrated he didn’t! I wanted to see him paid for his work! And maybe it would have knocked her down a few notches. I’d like to think she can keep that ambition but act with humility and integrity instead of greed. I’d love to see her learn from her mistakes and become a successful entrepreneur and go back and pay him in full. I’m an optimist!😘
I love that she is 21 and trying to make her way but come on now. It is not the defendant's fault and he does not need to pay her back basically twice. It is always someone else fault in this day and age.
This plaintiff is in Karen mode: She not only wants her deposit back, she demands money for her inconvenience ... even though she caused that inconvenience. And she has the website.
I've worked in retail for 11 years and then moved on to transportation. Everytime I hear " the customer is always right" from customer/passenger I always respond with "that's a myth told for bedtime stories" and they get sooo mad everytime 😂😂😂
And that's most likely the driving factor behind their businesses success. Unless you own a business, you don't understand the importance of that phrase.
@kennethj1040 that phrase carried much more weight when businesses relied purely on word of mouth. With the amount of advertising in today's culture, word of mouth is obsolete.
@kennethj1040 maybe back then....but that's definitely not true now. Tgese days customers use that BS ass phrase to get over and get shit for free. That's it. And usually the ones saying it aren't even loyal customers. 🙄 I may not have owned a business but I was manager of a few....I know exactly what that phrase means. it's obvious, YOU don't though.
Plaintiff is greedy and shameless. She got most of her money back AND got to keep the website and the business cards? ….And now wants him to double the refund and pay for “lost profits”…..Pffft. Just nasty
She’s the kind of woman who goes to Starbucks complains about her drink being wrong so she gets a free drink and a gift card but still wants to complain to corporate for her gas money so a Karen 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Some of these chicks are out here running wild these days Simply can't talk to her, or achieve any understanding. Everything is someone else's fault and what more can you do for me?
The audacity to sue him when you were the issue in the business agreement, got your money back and received the product in crazy lol she's scheming up on her dreams 🤦🏾♀️
So, the judge thinks that hearing cases is a waste of time. Hmm, I thought that's what judges do. Especially, tv judges. I'd like to get paid her salary for wasting my time!
People like her demand perfection but aren't willing to lift a finger to help make it happen! What a greedy h*e!!! Hopefully businesses see this and decline to work with her!!
I don’t think she ever had anything to sell and strung him along to try and make him fail to reach the deadline and then extort him in court . His problem was also not communicating enough
He did . The judge got his emails and realized she left some out ..probably to make him look bad . But he did ask for content of the merchandise she was selling .
@@H8ter11 agreed, but he said he had his wife or whatever speak to her. I think he should’ve made more phone calls. Been a little more aggressive like “so where yo products at?”
Seems to me that these website cases are always problems! Neither party can ever clearly express what they are expecting... never a meeting of the minds!
Entrepreneurship is not for her. Outside of being greedy and suing for money that she already got back, she doesn't know how to handle business and get things done.
He actually saved her a lawsuit. If I was a customer and paid for an accessory only to find the accessory I get is not the same as STOCK photo that she wanted him to use before the photo shoot. THERE WOULD BE HELL TO PAY.
When the judge told the plaintiff that she didn't care if she was young and industrious, she is being greedy, she kind of nodded in agreement. That is not a good look for a business owner. You don't want potential customers to think you are not honest.
I had a good lol😅when Harvey was asking the people in the group the question and the one lady said that customers are always right lol Apparently she never worked with the public or store ,, restaurant etc to know a lot of customers aren’t right Whoever made Customers Are Always Right bet never dealt with the public a day in there life
She's was over her head. I hope she humbles herself. And learn to take her fire (which I love) and make it into a benefit. I hope she has great success. If it's uncontrolled she could become our own enemy
Many young people are impatient and want things done yesterday, not hearing that it will take time to build a website and get it up and running. Takes time. That is why patience is a virtue and not to be taken lightly. And should have followed his instructions on the prep to be done. And this child believes deposits are refundable. She has to be taught the real adult truth. She already got her money back, but he needs to be compensated for what he tried to do, she wanted to make changes every day. She needs to go to college and learn how to run a business. She gets nothing. A lesson for her to learn, be patient and listen to instructions on what you contract for when you sign one and listen to how long it takes for whatever to be done and decide then what is to be done.
She didn’t even have products or manufacturers!?! She literally is expecting him to find stock images of products that she will then sell?!? How, how is she going to source the products? She’s jumping from step 1 (an idea) to step 25. Girl, take a business class. That’s step 2.
I love to see these young people becoming entrepreneurs. There is so much opportunity out there if you get off the computer or smart phone and just do it!!! Every successful business, and there are millions, started with an idea, a lot of work and time and often times a couple of failures.
Is this plaintiff serious right now?? You just want this man to build a site from scratch, with NO materials, no info, no nothing?? I'm sure that stuff is from sweatshops and incredibly cheap anywyay. She needs to take a chill pill and become humble because that lawsuit was crazy and unnecessary. On another note: the defendant seems super dope and looks like Fred Hammond lol.
The plaintiff is young and inexperienced but still she is trying to take advantage of this situation and to get money . I hope in the future she will mellow out
I disagree, customer isn't always right! As a photographer, image editor and photo shop specialist, digital makeup, hair artist, I've had clients send me photos that I just couldn't work with smh and even with clear instructions to send me clear photos that haven't been manipulated or edit but constant communication is key, to come to a happy middle ground. To avoid this case scenario!
This is why I learned to do my own websites. I dont mean these horrible drag n drop page design things I mean actually writing all the code from scratch. I dont trust anyone with important things like this.
