While there are a handful of things I'd still like to do with the space here this was a good start! I hope you enjoy!
Steps I took to make my home feel ready for the autumn season:
I made some pumpkin bread - I used a recipe that I found on the internet but I wasn't very pleased with the results. I'll share another recipe of this at some point for sure though - one that I'm happy with
I also made a natural wreath from blackberry vines, rose hips, and calendula flowers
then finally I carved some pumpkins!

Hi Annabel! The trick with rosehip jam is to pick rosehips after the frosts start. That softens and sweetens them. Then just remove the black caps, wash, cover in water and simmer until they are completely soft. In my country, where we make rosehip jam all the time, we have a rosehip press, but you basically need a very very vine sieve (like for consommé) and you press (with a spoon) and mash and sieve the ladles of rosehips and the water you cooked them in, as to remove the seeds, skin and most importantly, the fine hairs that are on the seeds. If your sieve is not very fine, after you sieve, strain the puree through a muslin cloth a couple of times. This is the strenuous bit of work but you will be rewarded with a glorious ruby red liquid puree. Weigh it, add as much sugar as you like and now cook it like you would cook any jam. It is absolutely delicious and full of vitamins for the winter. xx

Hi Annie! In Sweden we make a sweet soup from rosehip that could be drinked either hot or cold. It is called "nyponsoppa" if you want to look for reciepes to merge with your craft :) Rosehip is high on vitamin C (and unlike lemon this doesnt disappear when boiled/hot). I to am a witch, been feeling kind of stuck lately, the wreath you made inspired me thank you ever so much for sharing. Going to try to make one with the blackberry branches as well add my own personal touches. They are one of my favorite things and I'm lucky enough my husband and i live out in the sticks as people say so we are surrounded by them. I have been wanting to make the pumpkin bread as soon as september rolled around, and drizzle it with chocolate icing. That smell comforts me so, just gotta learn to take a breath and the time

My first thought was that you were a brave one for weaving Blackberry canes into a wreath but now that I understand about the protective qualities of the thorns, I understand! Your wreath is beautiful as is your front porch. Please don’t be embarrassed about filming while your neighbors are out. As you get older you will look back and and see that it wasn’t necessary. As a wise Wayne Dyer used to say ‘whatever you think of me is none of my business’ so embrace who you are, all of it! 💜

Yes ! I’m inspired…I’m will make that wreath, I have so so many brambles and wild dog rose around and the rose hips from those are higher in vitamin c than regular rose so this will be a good adventure for me and my shepherd Willa to go do!! 🙏🥀pumpkin bread sounds so comforting too! The wreath is beautiful.....I have a small one meal crockpot...and I use it for Apple peels,cores, cinnamon , orange peels, pinecones...and simmer it while I write, or clean, relax...it just makes it cozy...warm...I love this time of year...also naked pumpkin muffuns...they freeze well too for guests!

Lovely videos, I still have my first grapevine wreath I made 30 years ago and use it throughout the year with the seasonal plants around me. You should make a witch broom with the same idea!

What a real take on making a home ready for fall. (Better than the overhyped, Target dollar bin decorating I see everywhere.). I am so interested in the magic you practice and am asking if is a book or author which would be good for us beginners to read to understand more about all this? I doubt I will “go all in” but there is so much wisdom in your videos I would like to know more about the subject in general and incorporate some thing into my life.

I had to watch this twice because after the first minute of watching I got inspired to bake for myself (I am not good at it) and had the video playing in the background, came back and rewatched this a second time to see (not just hear) what was going on. When you mentioned intention of baking like a cleanse, something it triggered(not a bad trigger a great trigger) or I think a better word something clicked made sense a clarity and familiarity of the idea happened in a really good way. Hazel like the camera she looked right at it when you were placing your Wreath on the door
