Hi SJ, when you say alert, where is the alert seen on the SF homepage? is it only an email notification?

Nice video thanks and it would be good if you would have completed it with testing too. After completing the configuration we have to activate alert and notification job in provisioning to trigger alerts to respective emails. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes please, I need a overview of MDF object and a non MDF object .

General meaning of alert is just sending message to the person who has a expiration date ..we have a created a alert and attached a workflow . Then we have written a business rule based on the expiry date of the contract employee ..whenever the business rule is satisfied depending upon the expiry date then that person automatically get the message ..it is a configuration that we have done one time .

When i am plug in the business configure rile in hris elements under work permit group but i am unable to fetch my alert mgs .please help me to that field
