In this video I’ll introduce EVERY SINGLE Pokémon I came up with for my Icelandic and Norse inspired Fakemon region, the Fyrún Region. I’ll also let you know where you can catch of all of these pokemon in the Fyrún Region’s epic conceptual games Pokémon Brain & Pokémon Brawn. I hope you enjoy! I can’t wait to hear what your favorite Fyrún Pokémon is. I’d also love to know you’re Fyrún team if you have one picked out.

Oh my gosh... I love that you met your fan and got to talk with him about everything. That's very cool and very sweet. And that mention of the Africa region and them visiting Africa is cool. It would really cool to see those videos of your upcoming regions in the future with Omar having that cameo. For my own team, I'd have to start my journey off with Bearry. By the end, I would swap between several but my team mainstays would be Bearzerkr, Drekeon, and Sthormur.

I really Love Your Fakémon Region, it's brimming with creativity and though I'm not Icelandic but Scandinavian Swedish it's always refreshing to see Pokémon with Nordic culture in mind. Makes me feel extra attached to your ideas, keep doing what you love :D. My Pokémon team is below. Here's the team I would want to make of the new Pokémon if we exclude the DLC because I'm cheap Savoltaic (The fast hitter) Diamoth (The bug that makes you "Quiver") Yggdrasoil (The tree of Draining) Phantomb or Dreamon (The nightmare tank) Fyrúnian Frigilyph (All arounder) Lobstew (Type coverage and Yggdrasoil partner in crime) I would want A LOT MORE but this team came first to mind.

I'm already loving this so very much thank you for all your hard work and creative design ❤ I'm taking a look at the starters and their type balancing crabbub is insane being only weak to grass whereas bearry should be a natural type counter gets destroyed with crabbub most likely possessing a moveset with fighting ice and possibly bug type moves with bearry being 4x times weak to bug 😂

I hear and read "Nordic" and I immediately think of Skyrim and have "Dovahkiin" playing in my head. This is an amazing video and I love both the Pokémon and the lore they were inspired from. Though I'll have to look over it again as I don't think I've found a Pokémon that is inspired by the wolf, Fenrir.

You and the other artists had worked so hard to make incredible Fakemon, characters and stories including the DLC. I love the duality theme of Pokemon Brain and Brawn where pokemon trainers that rely on their intelligence or physical might battle each other prove which concept is greater while the war puts the protagonist and their rival's friendship to a test. I love how you demonstrate positive representation of LGBTQ+ and Disabilites like Ragnar, Professor Aspen and Maria, who is considered my favorite due to being autistic like me. I love how you'd introduced a new and unique mechanic to Pokemon Brain and Brawn called Forge Forms. You can transform certain Pokemon into weapons for you to wield and fight in their place. I love your trip to Iceland, Mykel. Interesting culture, beautiful enviroments, charming towns and wonderful people. I wish I could go there if I have enough money for the trip. Glad you took great inspiration to draw the Fyrún Region. I'm happy that Omar finally gets to meet you. No doubt he's your biggest fan, huh?

I think people put too much stock into the regions inspirations. People are all like “I want a region in my home country” but when you play gen 5, are you really reminded of New York? Crossing that desert with the coffin Pokémon is really what New York is all about.

I don’t disagree with you, I don’t think it matters too much for Pokémon the inspiration is always rather loose and usually more of a springboard than anything. I do think people read too much into it as it’s just fiction, even myself at times, but for me personally and as far as my creative process goes I like doing so becuase it allows me to do research and learn even more about these foreign cultures I may not have gotten to learn about so intensively otherwise. And then taking what I’ve learnt and putting my own twist on it, letting my imagination go wild…that’s where things get fun. So while I agree none that should matter for Pokémon, personally, without that springboard to help give me that initial spark of inspiration I’m not sure I’d find it as exciting tbh.
