I am gonna adopt your suggestion for Lilaeopsis in darker (but not really dark) areas for my most recent scape. In my old tank I used about the same amount of wood (found outside in town😁, I was well aware the risk I took) in a Dennerle 35L scapers tank which turned the purigen bag brown within 24 hrs for many weeks. Awesome Aqua-scape as always!! When I watched Kung-Fu Panda 4, there were many scenes of the valley of peace that reminded me of Tommy's iwagumi scapes. It would be cool to see Master-scaper Tommy create such a scape. 🙂
Lovely looking. Will you in future try a Iwagumi/diorama style on a 60P? I`m hearing many people saying ``you can`t achive something impresive in a 60p aquarium`` with a full hardscape back glass, and I`m curious if you are at the same oppinion. I look forward for the Iwagumi/Diorama style aquarium that you guys have on the channel and as a beginner I dont know if it would work out the same way in a 60p aquarium. Hope your oppinion is otherwise and it CAN be done.
I know that rocks are Tommy's thing, but this turned out fantastic, especially since he chose one of my favorite fish (that I have yet to keep to my chagrin). I'm curious, glolight's are said to be jumpers--have they jumped out? Or do you have a lid system when not on display?
It worked out great! But.. won't sand and soil mix soon? I used Ada sand and Manado, the sand is already at the bottom 😣 And do you use Aquario Neo Flow v.2 + skimmer somewhere or do you prefer Lilly pipe?
