well i'll just leave this here since im bored lol. so my wip, project.mimic is about like these monsters who hunt humans and kinda change their own dna to look like that human and then go on hunting said human's close associates. the main character is this girl who basically attracts these monsters / they always know where she is or sm. at first she's this quiet, sobby(thats not a word is it?) girl who just lets others take her decisions but through the story, she realizes that she's the only on who can change her fate and idk I'm still figuring that out xD its a weirdly complicated plot but i like it im halfway done through draft 1. how bout everyone else? 🙃

@@depereo. Wow, that sounds so cool! Are the monsters the antagonists or more like enemies-to-whatever kind of characters? I'm nearing the end of my current wip which is a part two of a tetralogy. It's about a bastard girl who lives in a military camp and has to band up with the colonel of the king's army. The king and his generals are mistreating the people of their country and have to be defeated. The protagonist and the colonel find a rebel group lead by the crown prince (who is the colonel's best childhood friend). So they join the war against the king and have to find four magical objects that will help them win the war. It gets really complicated because the four objects are supposed to free the gods who the protagonist thinks will help them fight the king, but who are actually worse than the king. And there are a lot of "finding yourself" subplots and "discovering magical powers" and "wait, are you on our side?". It's hard to explain but I love it with all my heart :)

My current wip is about my character ember who survives her suicide attempt (jumping off the golden gate) and she meets an old friend from high school who shows and helps her explore the meaning of life and see the beauty in all its glory (bad and good). He's also going through things himself but doesnt let on. (it's somewhat a play on depression looks different in everyone some are in plain sight while others you would never know.)

One of my OCs is named Maggie and she is 13 and from Germany. She is a 1st Teri side character and she comes to America for a year because her mother is a journalist/reporter doing essay on the Apocalypse that has spread through the states. She is so kind and caring. She’s definitely my comfort character.

Hi, Ana. I'm very late to this vid but I really hope your writing continues to go well! All your vids inspire me and I'm grateful for them! I'm really so excited for my own writing because even though NaNoWriMo isn't done yet, I already finished my 1st draft of project s.r. which is a short story fanfic work that I started plotting/planning towards the start of October, I think, and yeah, I was working on that and I have another project that I already completed in terms of planning/plotting but haven't started writing it yet. i love your oc’s so much!!! even though writing isn’t my thing, you’ve for sure inspired me to think more critically about how i make my characters. i make art and that’s how i mainly brainstorm create lore/character designs for my characters. my two main characters that i think about are mikey and jude. they’re two friends (to lovers 🤭) and they have this “opposites attract” dynamic. mikey is very outgoing and eccentric while jude is reserved. i’m still trying to understand the nuances of their character, but i recently came up with a story for jude. he comes from a very strictly religious family and because of this, there’s a lot of media, specifically “secular” music, that he never got to consume growing up (secular means it’s non religious and that’s how his family refers to it as). in contrast, mikey has a very rich knowledge of music and that’s his whole thing. once these two become friends, mikey starts talking about all these super popular bands and artists that he likes and jude has absolutely no clue what he’s talking about. mikey let’s him borrow a few cd’s and this results in jude’s parents rummaging through the stuff in his bedroom. they force him to throw the cd’s away, watching as he does it himself. that’s all i have for this specific part of the story buuuuuut yeah!!!

I love the set-up on Milanote. ALSO, the aesthetic of all your videos are beautiful. Thank you for introducing Artbreeder to me. It has changed my life. As for the question: one of my favorite OCs I've made is Janet the Planet Chaperoid for my Christian Scifi Comedy. She is a robot with a broken leg and voice box (that randomly says words in a different voice). Because she is broken, she is bitter and wants to take revenge on her creator. Even though she is just a side character, she is the sassiest and funniest character to write. She brings about 80% of the comedy in my opinion.

I think Carmen would be a good name for your third character it means garden or vineyard which you could possibly tie to his past or perhaps a hobby he enjoys doing (whenever I create characters I always choose meaningful names because it adds extra symbolism and helps me tie down what to associate with that character).

HI OMG :0 I genuinely love ur content so so much, u've helped me improve so much(currently creating a book called Wonderwoods!!!) andd cause you askeddd one of the characters is Chaos!! He's a deer hybrid thingy. Most of his body is invisible (but he can pick things up if he has a glove on) and he wears a cool wooden mask :) he can become an absolute creature of the night, or just summon it. he's also married to a fancy plague doctor guy lol. using milanote and talers to make the story wish me luck :3 !!!

I LOVE WYLL U HAVE TO NAME HIM THAT and one of my characters, cuz u asked, is named Yael and he is in a family of 11. He has blonde short hair that fans out at his ears and wears mostly yellow. He loves sports although he isn't all that athletic and he is very naïve. He also loves to journal and values his quiet time so he can reflect. He is invincible which is a side affect from being a twin. His twin brother is Blake. His dad died when he was 7, he lives with his mom and his 10 siblings. They live off the grid in a world where there r many people that have animal characteristics. I also have to refrain myself from stealing ur story idea cuz it's SOOO GOOD. I love writing about my own characters in the background of stories as the main plot is happening in the background of mine

Got another poem Ana called Winter Night. What do you think? The snow falls down in a sky black as coal. The icicles hang down my window like translucent fingers. The glass of water on my nightstand is chilled to the bone. The only light outside is a streetlight in a lonely neighborhood. The snowman outside has no hat due to strong winds. The teeth in my mouth chatter like firecrackers due to the cold. The cold has made me shiver with a fever as hot as a desert. The night certainly is miserable this winter night.

hi im late to this video but if youre able to reply thats great.. im not sure if it was a recent update in the 5 months between this video and now but Milanote, has it always been free to a certain limit or has it just been free with no limit. because i just ended a 100 workspace limit and its asking me to pay which im perfectly happy to do but i was just curious if it was always like this or just a new update. love your videos! ❤

Hii I’m writing a book and you are the one who helped me decide to write it first and inspired me so I was wondering if you could read the first paragraph (in WIP) of it? I’ll put it here, love your vids ❤”The unfamiliarly drooping trees that usually stoop high seemed to circle me as I looked around. CB had led me here even though it was part of the ***** land? Then, disrupting my thoughts, he turns and confusment spreads through me as I see the mask he had veiled lift, and a cruel smirk spreading across his face. He stares at me then, and my legs begin to shake uncontrollably, feeling seemingly weak and like jelly, as sweat starts to creep down my face. "What did you do. CB..? CB!" I scream fretfully, annoyed that my voice trembles. All that happened next happened too fast. Dark closes in on me and CBs silhouette blurs and glitches until the world flattens out, or maybe I do, falling to the ground, and the dark consuming my soul, corrupting, snaking, deadly.” PS: it’s the prologue but it’s based on the middle of the book so it may not make sense seeing as the mc already knows who CB is and is familiar with surroundings
