My mum gave me her old grandfather clock,its about 45 years old but good bones,very old,ugly brown colour,i stripped it and oiled it put a battery operated grandfather clock face in it and made the bottom part into a china cabinet,still going great, i love it. Yours looks very lovely too ❤

Awesome,yes, it will work over decoupage paper. I think you’re going to love it! Especially if you use a glaze after it dries. It really brings out the crackle. Have fun with it! ❣️
