If you do it neatly first time, you do it even more neatly the second time. I just started and imma start with making my own assets, animations, characters, weapons etc
Some of these videos are really helpful for me (I mean they all are, but I already knew some stuff). I thank you for your videos which are very clear and comprehensible with good examples. I hope I'll be able to get out a game around next year, it's a very big project of mine and this is a lot of work. Hope there are other videos coming. Keep up the good work !
Neon Network Thank you! And as far as the tileset, I do not currently have it available for download, as I want to finish the project that is using it first. However, when that is done I will release it!
how the fuck do you get this to work. Ive been trying nonstop for the last 3 days and I haven't gotten anywhere Ive been trying to import Modern Offices to MV and MX for the last 3 days
I am very confused about 1 thing. So the boxes are 48x48 right? Then how do some of those 48x48 boxes look so detailed? 9:07 Look at the doors on those houses. They look very detailed despite being in such a small box. How does that work?
I'm pretty sure RPGM has a limit on the total tileset size, but what you can do is create a blank tileset, fill it with all the stuff you want, and assign it in your tileset settings within the database to one of the open tabs (ya know how some tilesets have like a B and C section to them? Like that)
@@BenderWaffles I noticed it, I'm new to photoshoping and stuff, but I just managed to make a default image larger (in height), added more stuff down it, and then exported to RPG MV. As result, I could see my customs tiles on the manager, but when I tried to check it on the tiles selector, it didn't scroll long enough.
question is i placed the images i desire in the tileset.. but when i look up in the rpg maker mv, i see the custom tiles but when i select it in the designated A B or C option the custom tiles dissapear and goes back to default tileset... what could be the reason to it?
@@BenderWaffles I'm a bit fearful of downloading the less famous ones. My luck with downloading stuff always ends in some stupid virus. But I'll find a way to do it on something. Thanks ;)
I am having a problem with the fitting of a tilesets I got on steam for rpg maker mz. I purchased the Winlu Fantasy Exterior Pack, and the windows all seem to be 2 squares in size. Which then causes them not to be able to fit on one square high buildings, and when I do a 2 square high building the windows aren't centered. How can I adjust the placement of the objects in the tileset to make them fit better? Is there a plug in that lets you make fine adjustment and decrease the size of objects?
In a case like that, the only thing you can really do is open the tileset file up in Photoshop or something similar (GIMP, Paint Studio, etc) and manually change the tile to fit your needs. It may seem like a daunting prospect but trust me, it's pretty simple once you dive in.
I want to make my own tilesets but people are telling me its really hard. I may kind of try to emulate something similar to what I can find online, I want to make a Gameboy like game.
Honestly, it isn't that hard. If you have any amount of artistic skill, you can definitely produce something useable. And on top of that, the more you do it, the better you will get! So go ahead and jump right in! You'll do great :)
If you don't mind, I could use some help. I made floor tilesets for a game made on VX Ace, but my character can't walk on them. I made sure they're passable, but it's still not working. Can you help?
Привет. У меня RPG Maker MV как-то не корректор работает. Например окно "новое событие" раскрывается больше чем рабочий стол. Не видно кнопки "Ок" и "Применить". Приходится закрывать кнопкой на клавиатуре "Esc"
As long as you use them within the RPG Maker software yes. As the license for those tilesets allows only for use within that software, modified or not.
Why is everyone trying to make profit out of RPG-maker games, I mean personally if I see an free RPG maker game I give it a try but it’s the opposite with the price tagged games... Why not leave the “money earning part” to the professionals...
Hey, I realize that this is an older video, but it looks like your channel is still active so I am HOPING you can help me. I have an MV ready tile that I want to get put into a tileset, when I look at the image in the preview of what I am adding it all seems to line up, but when I actually add it to the tileset it is offset but just a bit to the left making it unworkable...HELP! I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I am using RPG Maker MZ if that helps!
@@BenderWaffles I can send Screenshots if that might help? I am literally baffled and are involved in the Game Jam they have going on lol...So trying to figure the mess out
