I'm just learning Canvas Workspace and learnt more off you in your videos from ya 1st S&C videos, than i've learnt in the last month watching UTube tutorials every evening. Hi. I went on to the scan it Saturday to see how it is done in principle and the rest was easy. I recommend this to everyone. I take strong pain killers and find it hard to take things in. The Scan it Saturday takes you step by step and its another way to do it but simpler design. . Thanks I am now going to cut it out and play. YIIIPPPEEEE
In all honesty, it's just a random width. Obviously you won't want it too close to the edge though as this would make the hinge weak so, maybe leave a minimum of an inch either side.
