why do they have to be spooky themed characters for a casino? were you trying to imply they work there already or did you not read the module? the place is called that because it's built on a river in the normal mortal plane that happens to be called the river styx due to the waterfall at the end of the cavern it leads into. the casino was built within the cavern, and was given the name "the afterlife casino" to build up a gimmick. it's a themed vacation spot, not a trip to actual hell. please do your research before making suggestions that don't REALLY have much to do with the adventure beyond a basic aesthetic the theme. I'd recommend choosing characters who are good charismatically, as that will get you farther than just brute forcing your way through. be sure to have some one who can take a punch just in case though!

Seems like I'm the first one here. Two ideas: One - An Eldritch Knight Fighter who serves as the "Muscle," but has the brains to back it up, so maybe part Planner or Hacker. Two - A Warlock of the Genie who serves a Djinn who wishes (no pun intended) to thwart the Efreet's plans.
for the first adventure my pc would be a human clockwork sorceror working with the golden vault to prevent the eldritch being from being born he would act as the hacker for the group using magic to undo locks and other arcane protections and providing protections for the pcs while also being the one to hold and dispose of the egg
@@TheClericCorner RIGHT??? I mean: how can possibly be that with practically every new publication I can find an MTG equivalent? They should definitely make a document (unearthed Arcana or whatever) in which you could find every plane on the MTG multiverse and the DND supplements which you can use to make campaigns about it.
