So excited, just made myself an intro for my videos! Thank you so much. It's not great, but what fun playing with this! Hope to see other things besides lens flares that can be "manipulated" like this! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
You get the black video clip from "Project Assets". Within that panel look for a "Panel Options" button on the far right of that panel. Then within that button there is a "New Item", the drill down to "Black Video".
Kris Kasprzak absolutely, I have premier elements 15 and I was wonder how to do the cool transitions, like the zoom transition that you see a lot in the premier pro, the the twist or rolling transition with the sound effect included. Basically any cool custom transition effect would be great...
Hello. I really enjoyed your video and intro lesson. I have 2019 and I've been trying to figure out how to do this stuff. I have come a long way and I saw some of the same things you had in your video in my program. I just didn't understand how they worked. Now I do. Thank you. I'm finding out this editing program does far more than I realize and now I understand why it was rated in the top 5 last year, for the cost involved. Thanks.
Great tutorial...thanks. This makes up for the lack of cool animated titles in Premiere Elements, compared to other packages like Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, etc.
Какое счастье что вы выложили это видео)))), большое вам спасибо (от имени всех чайников), несмотря на то что я не не знаю английского но я всё понял вы объясняете доходчиво и понятно.
VERY helpful..thanks, Kris. Have you done any tutorials on the Pan/Zoom feature? I'm wondering if there is a way to slowww down the zoom out/in to a gradual stop ..instead of a hard stop...
Excellent video Kris, this gave me everything I needed to know to create a simple and effective intro. I've already started to expand on what you showed. Quick question though, is there a simple way to trim a piece of audio without Elements (v18) adjusting the audio again? Many thanks, Darren
t5kampa sure try audacity it's a free download and does a bazillion things you can remove noise. Adjust audio levels Equalization everything it's what I use
Nice video. I am going to use that idea. Do you know if it is possible to create really cool intros using this software or would Sony Vegas be better for more creative projects? I am just trying to find out how creative this software will let me be but at the moment I don't know all the features except to make quick videos for my youtube channel.
This was very informative. I do have one issue. I cannot see the anchor point when I minimize lens flare at 4:47. The black screen is blank and I have to manipulate the numbers. I did notice you have what appears to be a light bulb next to the text box that says, "Animate by adding keyframes..." There is obviously some setting I can find to make it work. Would you happen to know?
hello Kris ,, please me again how to make colorfull backround for the intro because i aleady did for yellow but when i save it the result is still black the backround
I've been working with Premiere Elements for the past year...and I had no idea how to do any of this. I also watched the PIP video and learned a ton there. Keep it up!
+Jerry McDonald Based on my understanding of your question, yes. You would place the points of change closer together in the time line. The into of this videos intro is slow, but I could have made the flare zip across the screen much faster.
Where do you get black video. I just purchased this software but I can't find under assets a black video. Do I download it somewhere? Also is there a site that has a bunch of free effects that I can download?
Kris, great videos. I'm stuck in the mud, In Premier Elements Version 15 how do you move the lens flare around. I can’t quite get it… thanks for your help….
If you mean create a movie in HD (1920 x 1080), this is done under the Export&Share, you will have to poke at the options. Even if your source is not HD, you can still export to HD.
Thanks for this good tutorial. How can I change the black background to another color on the background? Let's say, black letters on a pale blue background...Thank you.
The only way I found was to create an image file the size or your video, and color of your choice and add it to your timeline and size to meet your needs.
Thank you. I find this is one small flaw in the program compared with the Movie Maker I have been using recently. So now I built an empty Movie Maker video with only the background color of my choice and added the text.
OK, so I made an intro, But how do I save it so it will be included in each new video? Or at least as an asset I can pull up for my 1080p videos? Can you do a tutorial on that?
+Chesapeake Council of the International Federation of Fly Fishers Unfortunately there is no way to add the project to another project, you must export your intro to a hi-res video, then bring that video into other projects. I'm not an expert in choosing the best format but you don't want any compression in your saved files. Perhaps MPG or MOV files with the highest bit rate is the best, highest quality is best.
Wilson Nature Photography yeah making those points show up is very finicky in the video at 4:45 where to click to make the points visible in the graphics window, you may have to do it a few times to get the points to show up
Hey Kris, Thank you for replying I actually thought you wouldn't reply to such an old video. When I do click just to the left of the down arrow it does show the center point, but when I click it again it doesn't show up to move it. I notice in your clip there is a light bulb which doesn't show up in mine. I will give it another try and continue multiple times to see if it will work. This is my first time doing video edits and having a tough time with the learning curve. Pretty frustrating..... thank you again for your response. Greg
i question how do I make a intro for my videos I want it to be a blue screen with the sound of rain and thunder and then have lighting strike Nd my name pop up with a knight standing in the back ground would it be possible to make something like this I really really want that for my intro videos on my channel I just don't know how to make it with this system :)
+James Knight There are a variety of ways to get a blue background. Easiest is to create a BMP image (per you video size and paint it your desired blue--use Paint, Photoshop, etc. Then bring that image into premiere. Overlay image of you, add text. Adobe has a lightning effect, but i'm not very impressed with it.
+Kris Kasprzak may i said something i fallow the steps you gave on the elements 8 and didn't know those features were there.......you're the man thanks player
This was exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to try this out. I like how you explained in detail. I just subscribed to you. Hope you can check out my channel. Thanks so much for the help. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
