Love that floor color! I agree, organizing is so satisfying. An FYI: That large copper "tea pot" is likely a kettle. Kettles are usually made of metal and are used on the stove to heat up the water whereas teapots are usually ceramic and are what the tea is served in. Love your videos!

I like the shelving unit mix of metal & plywood.

Use some of the smaller jugs in the bathroom for bubble bath, & bath oil. Then medium size jugs in the laundry room for detergent & softner. Also, in the kitchen to decorate.

Re teapots, if there’s a wedding or kitchen tea on the cards, you should keep them for that and then pass them on

No shame in using a fold up table as a desk. That's what I did when the lockdowns hit in march 2020. Well, I first sat at the dining room table too, but when we realised that was not going to be so temporary, we got a fold up table out, I out a little table cloth on it and voilà! Desk.

Kinsley is so curious and so excited to see you everything just like you are mama lol. The funniest part of this video is when she jumped up on the shelf and you weren’t even paying attention😊❤. So in your collection, I think a lot of the reason why you have multiples of things is at first you were thinking not only of your main house but of the cottages and how you would decorate them and what you would put in them and now I think that’s been put on hold because of other obstacles. That’s the things that I can remember is you shopped with your mom at the antique stores and out at the trade days there in Fredericksburg. Do you have a very good collection going on. And because you have been collecting it now for what a year and a half /two years all of that stuff takes time money and effort and you have done a wonderful job keeping your vision, and true to what you wanted to go into your home you can tell that by looking at your collection now. I remember the chairs the red ones but I do not remember what you were going to do with them and where you were gonna put them they are still gorgeous! I am so excited for each and everyone of your rooms to evolve but I know here really soon you’re going to show us the kitchen and we’re gonna move back into the living room! So you can put Christmas up🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

I can't remember which vlog episode it was in, but I think you found a lot of tea pots after visiting LA and being inspired by your grandma's (or great aunt's?) beautiful teapots. I can't remember who in your family it was exactly, but she had a long line of them displayed on a shelf in her kitchen. I remember them because you showed us and it was an absolutely stunning collection! Maybe you could hang a long shelf above the opening from the kitchen to the living room and line them all up there? You could tac them to the shelf so they're nice and secure..

My husband and I are retirement age. Whatever that means. Lol. I love watching you and your husband doing projects together. It reminds me of when we were younger. You will be telling your kids one day how you stained floors, painted walls, etc. Actually, you can show them all of your wonderful videos.

This is hilarious, because i was watching and thinking that this is before the fireplace mantel since the mantel was still dirty and out side, then you moved to the cleaning shot in the kitchen and none of the cabinets or the range hood are there. It just made me laugh how invested we are. I guess it took also more time because it was an ad.

Making your own boutiqur is brilliant! You can shop what you already own, and it will keep you from buying more of what you already have enough of. What a great use for your guest space when you aren't yet ready for guests. I don't know if you are ever shopping for prints/art that are unframed. Curious if you had considered making a Milanote board with your empty frames? If you took pictures of each with the exact dimensions, you'd always know if you have a frame that would fit.

I think you would find it very helpful if you photograph and make descriptions for each of your decor items so that you have a catalog of your items for future reference. Maybe put them on Milanote? That way when you're out shopping or thrifting you can see what you already have by checking your catalog of items in the Milanote app!

That was really fun to see! It is so nice than see your collections grouped together. Consider displaying them that way? All the copper tea pots above the coffee area on open shelving, for instance.
