You need to travel around the world, learn tons of knowledge, from forensic science to 127 forms of martial arts, fancy gadgets, a loyal butler and most importantly, billion dollars worth of fortune to afford all of that
Hawk7743 he has no superpowers or any enhancements. He’s just rich. Don’t get me wrong I love Batman but he isn’t a “super”hero, the only thing super is his morality and mindset, even though his no kill rule is flawed.
I know a lot of people prefer the begins suit but i prefer the tdk suit because it looks so much cleaner he's able to turn his head and bank vault scene in the opening of the dark knight after batman's first appereance,in that scene the begins suit looks a bit weird imo.
I know wxactly what you mean, and I like this suit too, but imo, one of the most important looking parts is the cowl, and this one never did it for me. The scene of the interrogation with the Joker has always looked really odd and kind of puts me off.
It does look weird in the bank scene. Lighting is everything with these suits a lot of the time, and there are moments in TDK when the Begins suit is not looking great.
I know others haven't said this but massive respect to Stephanie Kwolek for coming up with the invention of Kevlar. If we can idolize movie stars and producers, then a person who is ACTUALLY changing the world and pushing technology ahead deserves praise and love.
Kevlar is a wonder material and it's saved many a life, mine included, but what they fail to mention is a soft armor vest rated for say pistol calibers, will stop up to a .44 magnum however, that bullet is carrying a but ton of kinetic energy and it's gotta go somewhere, & that somewhere is your body. Unlike the movies where the cop gets up right away with an owy on their chest, in real life your nervous system is overwhelmed by stimulus aka pain
Djaco lol fox/Morgan Freeman was talking about the first batsuit Bruce Wayne wore In "Batman Begins". That suit could definitely stop bullet's and knives. The suit he wore in the Dark Knight rises was the suit he received in "The Dark Knight". That suit wasn't nearly as durable as his first suit because it was a lot lighter in weight and had segmented armour plates so Bruce could move more freely in it. He was stabbed in between these armour plates in TDKR.
Ok the difference between the Dark Knight suit and the Dark Knight Rises suit is that TDKR suit’s joints between the plates are actually reinforced. Meaning it could stop the knife. Since it was destroyed when the Bat fought Bane, he wore TDK suit which has weak spots in the joints between the plates.
@RU-vid Commenter Probably yes. That is the reason why Talia can hurt him in the end of the movie. While in the dark knight he fought against the joker with no fear even when joker is very skilled with the knives.
1:40 Maybe so, but Kevlar vests always have the signature trade off: bruised or broken ribs instead of straight through or no exit wound bullet injuries. Moreover, everyone Batman fights ain't gonna have normal handguns and pocket knives. As Gordon mentions, "We buy kevlar, they're gonna have armor piercing rounds". And Kevlar is worn by cops who take cover and avoid gunfire as much as possible while returning fire. Batman on the other hand runs straight into said gunfire, without any guns and with nothing more than batarangs and other immobilizing tech. He would need something that would bounce off bullets or if possible, reduce the pain impact from a stray shot that would hamper his movements while he's taking down each of them.
Batman in a raspy voice: "You stabbed me in the back". Talia Al Ghul: "I have always stabbed you in the back, it is the side that I stab you in now". Bane: "Ah yes I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit, your heart, or your kevlar shielded body".
That wasn’t the same suit as the one you were wearing in TDKR when you got stabbed. The suit you were wearing had separated plates, which,in the words of Lucius Fox,”renders you more vulnerable to knives and gunfire.”
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer comic accuracy wasn't the goal of Nolan's Batman. He wanted to create a realistic Batman that coulf actually exist in Real life. Sure Affleck was more comic accurate, but he wasn't nearly as realistic as Bale. Afflecks Batman was even stronger than any human could possibly be (watch the warehouse fight). Both Batmans made a great job in what they had to do. Bale was set to be more realistic and Affleck was set to be comic accurate and both of them nailed it. Thats one of the reasons you can't compare them. Another reason is because we haven't even seen a Batman solo movie with Affleck, while on the other hand Bale gave us one of the best if not the best superhero live action trilogy of all time.
The Dark Knight batsuit is on my top 7 of live action batsuits and while i don't think that this suit is better than Ben Afflecks batsuit in BvS/JL, this batsuit is definitely in my opinion better than the Burton 89 and 92 batsuit because it allows Batman to turn his head, be fast and agile, and obviously be an expert Ninja in the darkness.
just finished watching Justice League. I came to watch this cuz I just love & miss the 2008 bat suit. This cowl is superior to Batfleck's. Although the Nolan's fight scenes cannot come close to Snyder's.
110 separate components for the suit? 😯 Christian would have need Tony Stark's robotic costumer, I know bad terminology, system to put on all that in a timely manner.
Cool costume Fairly ergonomic Don’t believe anything these “experts” say Based on their sources, it’s a miracle they could hold a conversation with the tailor long enough to weave it
I want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i'm writing that i loved The Dark Knight and i believed that it was an awesome Batman film too. I also want to write that the year 2024 will also be Batman's 85th anniversary year too.
Even though I don't like the way this suit looks, it's super clever and works perfectly for their approach: A realistic take on Batman. If you ask me, I prefer the classic grey costume but that's just a matter of personal preference, doesn't mean this suit isn't good. Besides it's entertaining as hell to see it being made. Much respect to the crew!
The closer the gun is when its fired the less time the bullet has to decelerate before impact so range very much matters. Like you said, he needs to learn more about guns lol
Things don’t have to be realistic to be good. Sometimes too much realism can dull a movie out and make it a little boring. Luckily, it was NOT the case with this trilogy.
@@j.t2348 there's nothing realistic/relatable/believable about a billionaire that wears tights and beats the shit out of criminals. Batfleck followed the comic book logic and it turned out to be pretty great. The animated series are not realistic in the slightest, and they're still considered the best iteration of Batman to this day.
Hands-down the best trilogy ever. But I always laugh when Lucius fox tells Bruce Wayne!! That the Kevlar would stop a knife!!! 😂😂🤣😂🤣 that didn’t work in The Dark Knight Rises when Ras’s daughter stabbed Batman. I let it slide because that was the first suit that he had, in Batman begins but when you get a upgrade you’re supposed to get everything you had before and more.
Lucius literally says when he describes the new suit to Bruce is that it allows more movement, but that comes with a tradeoff since now it's more vulnerable to knives and gunfire.
SAVEGE BEAST Especially after that upgrade sent by Fox, but the only problem is it's very long ears. They should be neither too small like Affleck nor too large like Arkham series, Bale's suit had no defect at all.
This kind of tech existed in our world, I'm afraid we will have our own real life Batman in future..I just hope Bane or anything crazy do not exist too..Bane are human, so he probably exist some where by now..I just hope not others like crazy scientists lizards exist
