Sorry for the confusion, I'll be posting a tutorial with a real parametric plugin for SketchUp. Meawhile, here is a sample video -----> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cKBb6NZ8mb0.html
When I select the first line segments to pull forward, I can not get them to snap to the green axis. They will only snap to the red axis. They will not pull forward, they will only adjust based on the red axis, and remain flat. How do I get it to snap to the green axis? The snap hint does not appear for me.
Ron Askier Saga Quad Face tools - selecting the lines, SubD - smoothing the geometry...For the last part you can use Slicer5 plugin instead doing the cutting manually. You can watch our latest video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AT5Hh6n8iGI.html Slicer5 was used on the last part.
Parametric modeling in SketchUp ----> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cKBb6NZ8mb0.html Hi everyone! I'll be posting an update of this tutorial soon using VizPro / Viz Studio, a parametric modeler extension for SketchUp. Hit the bell icon to be notified. Cheers!
You can use your arrow keys to guide you in which direction you'd like to move it. If you need a different direction other than your default axes you can reorient your axes under the axes setting.
I want to build this wall for my parents house, any design is fine and the dimensions are as follows: 2.1m (H) and 3m (W). Anyone willing to help by providing me with dimensions to cut on CNC, willing to pay obviously 😉. I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦
first understand the parametric design. its not a manual modelling. we give some parameters by visual programming based on that input data a model will be generated. so you should know the cocept of parametric design
