Can someone tell me her story? I'm so confused

In short. In Freak show season after her husband Salty died, she was sent to her sister and his husband who treated her so badly. Pepper was like a slave to them. Then when the couple got tired of their baby, they killed it and blamed Pepper who actually took very good care of the baby. She then got sent to Asylum bc everyone believed Pepper's cruel sister. :c And as we heard from season 2, Pepper later died in the Asylum .

There was a man known as Schlitzie who was a circus sideshow performer. That’s where they got the idea for Pepper’s look.

i'm late to this but pepper isn't scary in the show, she's so sweet and adorable. she's one of many people's favorite characters from the show. maybe you haven't gotten to her story, it is so heartbreaking.

pepper is one of my favorite characters. I wanted to cry when that stupid "sister" of hers on season 4 put her in an asylum and accused her of killing her baby. pepper did not deserve that. I feel so bad. She's a favorite.

Duh! Becuz she was so freakishly awesome as a crazy freak in Asylum! Although she was just a wandering character with not many parts, she made the show add more twist to it!

Because visually she's fascinating and her back story in Asylum is bizarre. It's very intriguing

Partly because gives the single most satisfying verbal smackdown in the entire series.

@chloe Pepper is my favourite character but she was born a pinhead (the way she looks) i believe thats what shes called. so her mom sent her to adoption and after 18 or so years a women adopts her for her freakshow and as years go by pepper sees people fall in love but she is alone. the owner gets another pinhead and pepper and (i forgot the guys name but lets call him salt) salt fall in love. well later on salt dies from old age as pin heads arent ment to live long. the owner tracks down peppers sister and has pepper live with her sister. the sister hates pepper and has her husband kill her own baby who also was deformed and they blame it on pepper and send her to the asylum. it sounds cheesy but it really is amazing and actually her story is why i got into ahs
