Creating the Best Subaru WRX STi Exhaust with Magnaflow 

This is the literal definition of CUSTOM EXHAUST. He got his exhaust completely done by a exhaust manufacturer. Blows my mind

Being an electro-mechanical engineer, this place looks amazing. Cameron great job filming and having the ability to get to a main manufacturer like MF, work with their engineers and have them build an exhaust with you right there. That's very inspiring

Yooo! That thing sounds amazing! Its my favorite exhaust for the STI now I was nvidia n1 before but man its crazy hi you managed to tone that rumble down to make it unique. Its very minute but it makes it a magnaflow it separtes it self

First of all FANTASTIC video man. Great content, and I watched the full 30 minutes. I was so relieved to see it say not finished yet, and I'm glad you ended up with a tone you wanted. I think the end result sounds really nice, and miles different from the their first attempt. To me, it just seems like a ton of effort to get to the level of sound and tone quality that already exists on a different option you didn't mention. This sound tone and quality sounds ALMOST like the dual exhaust Borla. On my first 2017 STI, I had a Nameless set up and loved it, but like you I wanted something that was deep and aggressive when I wanted it, but less drone and tame when taking it easy. I went with Borla on my new build and it is in my mind the PERFECT balance of high end quality sound. It has a rich deep tone that is almost on par with what you would come to expect from a V8. At the end of the day we all search for the sound that's right for us, but just wanted to take the time to share another option with the community that gets slept on.

Tell them to make a glasspack muffler that wont melt. SS packing and still just as long. I need 2.5". They make the sound I desire but my rotary melts the fiberglass

The exhaust isn't exactly my taste, it does sound good but much too loud for me. I had a Stromung axle back and a Perrin downpipe on my Forester xt and it sounded the best to me. Now I went with my Perrin and a TurboXS catback on it and it still sounds amazing but a touch loud. Great work on the video and good job working with MagnaFlow!

Trying to decide what exhaust I want to put on my 350z which isn’t obnoxious and trumpety but nice and loud with a deeper tone then your usual z

It sounds awesome. But I just can't get over a dual exhaust bumper with only 1 exhaust tip. It just looks so unfinished. It needs a single exit diffuser to look "good" to me.

That first exhaust sounds pretty dope though. Edit: This exhaust sound kinda making me want a STI 👀

I've been running a Greddy SP since owning my car (3 years) and been wanting a louder/single exit exhaust. Haven't been a fan of how many of them sit, seems super out place but this exhaust developed by MF, now only does it sound amazing, but it looks amazing. Now I wonder what it sounds like on a FA20

My cousin use to work at Magnaflow and he told me they did everything Cam wanted and asked for. But when it came to the business side of things Cam felt that he should of gotten some percentage of royalties or profit distribution once his idea hit the market. Magnaflow on the other hand felt like they went above and beyond by letting him come into their shop and design a custom exhaust using all their resources and staff which obviously cost a nice chuck of change. So long story short they aren't seeing eye to eye to say the least. At the end of the day it's business nothing personal. Kinda like a rapper signing away his masters or publishing for a little advance because he doesn't understand the paperwork basically.

Personally, i think it sounds super stock, Like what the sti should come with. really really nice, hard to compare volume, but i can imagine it i think. it reminds me a bit of my TXS turbo back too if im honest.

Wasn't a believer about WRX's till I witnessed a street race 23ish years ago and the WRX beat a Vette by 3 car lengths. It had turbos of course but still. I'm still a Camaro/Vette guy but mad respect to WRX owners. Its a great car. Unreal vid production, one of the best vids I have seen in a long time.

I use to have a brz and I love that thing I would take it to the tail of the dragon all of the time and had a blast with that thing unfortunately a burning truck hit my car and burned both of them and my sisters car to the ground. So I was in the car buying scene for a little bit and I would always see wrxs and stis and think how cool they were on the road ,so I went to a dealer that had a 2012 wrx and test drove it and instantly fell in love with. I’ve had it for a couple months now and have been saving to do my first mod and have been looking for exhausts because it would liven it up so much and instantly enjoyable mod. Don’t have the funds yet. One of my friends just got back from being stationed and him and others from my group got together and did a cruse of the parkway. I just love the bond we can all have about cars and how they can bring us together.
