Hi there, some of the extension packs are definitely worth it. I personally think the Adventure pack is the most useful one of them. The base game has plenty of items though, so you really don't need them when you're new to the game. I might try to create a Toy Story ride someday btw, but first I want to try to create something from the Marvel universe :)
