Hi Robbie. I've spent the afternoon getting roots out of a couple of my older tubs that weren't doing well. I started digging and found then full of tree roots. Thank you so much for showing us this problem that you had. Maybe my garden will be better when I get through with all the tubs.

I share the same problem with my neighbor’s tree roots. Now everything in my garden is leveled up - chair garden, containers on vinyl pallets, bricks, cement blocks, etc. I took down all the raised beds. They were invaded by tree air roots. I might build a “raised” raised bed next year; if I have time to go around it since it takes more time and effort to prepare one.

Hey Robbie. I planted 40 cherry tomatoes around my deck. I will need to plant 60 next season bcuz my dog Taezer eats them like candy lol. He can't get enough! I was able to freeze some for the winter but pretty sure I'll need to get some from the store to keep him satisfied til summer. Omg too funny. Juli from Michigan

Eggshells are great in the garden if you have snails or slugs. Eggshells will cut them up.

Very sad the hurricane Destroyed my garden. Had to get the house together first. I’m looking positive though. Clear and look for survival of the fittest. The only thing I’m sad about is I finally had garlic going but not thinking they made it. The salt spray did them in. I bet that prom dress was beautiful.

Love the neutral colored totes on the wall. You could always paint a colored tote the neutral color if u run out of the gray ones. Not liking those few colored totes you have on the wall now, actually.

I been trying to grow lettuce and pineapple from cuttings. I can't get the lettuce cuttin to root by sitting in it's just keep turning brown. I also been trying to pineapple from the tops I planted it in organic potting soil but the leaves are turning brown. I did get some spinach seeds to sprout from a damp paper towel but no leaves yet. But I couldn't get the lettuce seeds to sprout from the damp paper towel. I first tried to grow the spinach and lettuce from seed with a jiffy starter soil and I let it sit for at least 6 weeks and it hasn't grown. What am I doing wrong?

I enjoy all your videos, so informative & creative. I container plant vegetables/squash, herbs & flowers and plant all from seed. I typically use standard pots for them. But found a reasonably priced way to use the popular galvanized metal oval containers. They're typically astronomical in price, but Walmart has a nice sized one for $12.94. With hammer and nail I just made drainage holes in the bottom first. My Waltham Butternut Squash have done very well in it.😊 It is 20.27" L x 11.22" W x 5.7" H "Better Homes & Gardens - BH28-056-099-21 Oval Galvanized Tub" (It won't allow me to insert or attach a picture here.)
