Fantastic video. Video very helpful. Love this project. The end result of your no sew pocket folio is absolutely beautiful. Love the cover. Perfect. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love your projects. I like your folio over Tim s there are easy to make and cheaper because you can use your materials that you have. His are not Cheap. Take csre
I love rain and storms. We don’t get much of either in CA 😕. This is brilliant! You are brilliant! This really is amazing. I love watching you work with TH goodies of all kinds. You always knock it out of the park. Hugs 🤗❤️
OMG what an amazing result. I love this. And hey the rain didn't bother me. I love the sound of the rain. But I understand the need to do damage control. Been there done that. Hope the damage wasn't severe. Thank you.
Need a pick-me-up? Watch your videos 🤩😃💖 Your enthusiasm is amazing, and so are your projects. I watch all videos on double speed, and it boosts your enthusiasm to a veritable vitamin injection 🤣 I'll be making your version of this folio now that the covers are also deconstructed...!! 😁 Thank you for all the inspiration, big hugs from Norway 😍
I loved this video, your directions are so easy to follow, as far as the rain goes, I’m sorry that you had issues and almost drowned 😬🤣, but I love rain. In fact as I was watching your video it was pouring down rain and storming here. The bad news is, we’re celebrating Memorial weekend here and it’s going to rain the entire weekend. That’s not so great Can’t wait to watch your Sunday video!
Love this journal! I thought of another way to do it as well. Take a 12 x 12 sheet of card and make flaps at the top and bottom. Didn't try it but thought it might work.
This was such a helpful video -- thank you! And the timing of watching this video was perfect, as I'm starting work on a commission project (making a book for someone who is retiring) -- and am going to use this format for the book. I got some great ideas from your video (as always). Thank you so much!
The accordion folder turned out just beautiful. ❤ I love the idea of using Mr. Holtz' admirable art to recreated one of his... uhm extraordinary new products. 😅
❤❤ love your creative and inspiring videos. Went online to look into the new bigger mm corner rounder you are using. So far seems to only be over there in your neck of the woods. Its 30.00 not including shipping. Guess im waiting till it shows up over here in America..😢 it just looks soooo cool!
Hey Margrete! A fat quarter is half a yard x half the width of the fabric. So the one you measured was a 44" wide fabric. I live about 30 miles north of Los Angeles and NO ONE!!! within 50 miles carries the Tim Holtz fabrics! You are so fortunate. If you search hard you can find two or three of his fabrics designs, but you can't see the whole line in person before buying.
This is fabulous! I'm thinking of making this accordion journal for the "creep on June" challenge. Or a tag accordion journal. I can't decide. Thank you for this excellent tutorial. By the way. I just love the sound of RAIN. 👍
Fantastic job, Margreth! Thank you for doing all the measurements for us. Your folio turned out so gorgeous with all the interactive flips, flaps and pockets. You always come up with such unique and cool designs. TFS❤
I crafted along with you, with less lovely papers and my fabric wasn't ironed, so my covers are a bit wrinkled (like me). I had the added bit of fun with a kitten trying to grab my scraps and make off with them, instead of the rain that you had. I'm pleased with my results, but my covers are a bit loose and I'm thinking I might just have to glue them to hold them on. Mind you, that just makes mine, my own unique craft. Yours looks lovely!💖
Hi Margreth! I love how you recreated Mr. Holtz’s accordion journal. I noticed how his pockets were bending when he closed the journal and you fixed that problem. I just love how you did this, it looks amazing! I would never have been able to recreate that accordion but you made it understandable, thank you! Boy, that rain was heavy! 🌻
A wonderful, easy to follow tutorial. Love the colourful cover. TFS❤ Will I actually use my hoarded Mr TH 12x12 paper to make one???🤔😊 I know you had problems with the rain leaks but it was quite a nice ASMR for a minute. Hope you sorted everything. 🌧️👍
Oh, Margareth, lovey! I have not been watching any of your paper videos (or anyone else's) for a couple of weeks now. The reason is that I have been working on sorting, purging, cleaning, reorganizing my craft room and I knew if I were to watch a video I would get too many ideas and want to ignore the reorganizing and make something. But the room project is nearly finished and I decided today to let myself watch one little Sevenplaza video. What could go wrong? Well now I'm down here in the craft room and I'm telling myself "Oh, this place is already in much better shape than before, and after all, I do have the TH paper and the TH fabric...go ahead and make an accordian folio while the idea is fresh!" I have missed you and now I have some catching up to do on your videos. Oh yeah, I'll have to catch up on the reorganizing too. Maybe tomorrow! 😁
Margreth, Love this!! I have way too many 12 x12 paper pads (especially Christmas ones) so I think I will make a few of these. Not sure who I will gift them to but it should be fun. I love Christmas projects! Until later, Judy
This is great Margreth, perhaps TH might get some inspiration from your ideas 😁 I love how you have created your own style based on his, and improved it too. It looks lovely made out of papers rather than plain folder card or cardstock. So pleased too to see you are in Tracie Fox's collaboration - just your style so looking forward to seeing it too. I love mix it up may so many new things to experiment with and learn too. Thank you for sharing. Crafty hugs Jacqui 😸😻❤
Cute project. But way too complicated for my skill level!! However, I'm having a lot of fun creating tall collage pieces like you made the other day. Sorry about the flooding issues. Hope there was no damage especially to much loved craft supplies and "thrift" collections"
I love your projects but I have a hate/hate relationship with rulers. I try my best to measure but it just never works. I can’t even score on a scoreboard! My lines always go crooked. So I just enjoy watching you and occasionally I’m brave enough to try!
This was so much fun to follow along and make! Mine is too ugly to use because I didn't have 3 pieces of scrapbook paper that matched, but it was perfect for the prototype. You did a fabulous job of explaining what to do and how to do it. Thanks!
You always improve on originals, just brilliant! Loved the rain sounds too but it must have been difficult to record the video while trying to shout over the noise. Thanks for sharing xxx
Hello - I am new to your channel & truly amazed by your creativity ! Your tutorials are clear, easy to follow & always fun. Thank you for sharing your talent to seemingly make something out of nothing.
Great project to do. I kept thinking what do i have instead of that...? I was listening with headphones on when it started raining, thought it was raining at my place in canada!
Oh Margreth your enthusiasm today for using Tim’s products was just awesome and had me smiling the whole time. Love the idea of your boo boo tape. Loving the sound of the rain in the background it is my favourite sound. Glad you are not underwater in the conservatory though 😊.
Fantastisch. ❤ Je hebt het heel duidelijk uitgelegd en is heel goed te volgen. Er kan niets fout gaan. Dank je wel daarvoor. Nu kan ik er zelf een maken. Helemaal top. ❤
Love the project. You can always tell if there is a junk journaler in the house because everything is missing the backs as we take them & repurpose them 😂😂😂
You can, my advice reinforce every fold with washi or fabric tape and sew in small signatures, at most 6 pages each. In all the valleys. I have done that before on my channel search for “ endless flip journal “
I watch all your videos but I have QUESTIONS. You say scrapbook paper but it looks like cardstock or is it something in-between? Scrapbook paper here in US comes in big pads way cheaper than Tim Holtz. It is very confusing because papers always look heavier on videos. Please explain. Surely I'm not the only one wondering about this. Also the weight isn't always printed on paper packaging here in USA. Thank you lovey 🥰😘
Three minutes in and you have already givne me a "Why did I never think of that!" moment with using the paper trimmer as a score board. Absolute DUH! moment. Thank you :D I have just moved and have much of my stuff still in boxes, and cannot find my score board. I was *this close* to buying a new one, now I don't have to!
