So it’s kinda like animation for sounds. Cross fade is like a key frame. Each oscillator instance is like a drawing. And keeping in mind the movement, you have to make sure it flows together naturally.

It's very interesting to see that VR has become this guy that uses exactly this technique for sounddesign. It is absolutely a great idea and gives you essentially limitless possibilities to create unique sounds. But is it me or is this getting kinda old and repetitive? VR has been using this method for years and people are still treating it like it is the newest thing ever. Do not get me wrong, I love VR, his Music, and his sounddesign. It's just weird to see this technique getting so much attention all of a sudden after so long.

Thank you!! :) I just need better "drawing" tools than the shapes on the left side, that would be really cool if I could literally draw the waveforms in with some kind of pencil, or bezier curves or whatever^^ But haven't tried importing audio files yet, that's also gonna be massively helpful, thanks once more :D
