Your idea is great!!! I have made some with lace glued between the cards. On your cards i think i would cut out the smaller rectangle so the sides would be stronger.😊

I'm a little confused. I understand covering the front window card with a pattern paper. But I'm not sure why plastic is glued to back edges of the window card. From what I'm seeing, it just protects the back card. I'm thinking of gluing the plastic to outer edge of back card. Then, trim to necessary size before you glue the window card to the back card around outer edges. I'm told I overthink things. Some stuff just clicks while others leave me scratching my head. I'm just trying to understand.
@Lori-rr2nb I was just trying to understand. I've made a shaker card & understand you need space between the front & back. Usually, you use foam tape to separate the front & back to hold tiny bits in-between. I don't mean to question your method or seem critical. Just trying to understand
