Creating the Digital Key for your Hyundai is quick and easy. This video will explain what is necessary to use the Digital Key app as well as how to set up the system.

i bought this car in 2020 with the promise that there was going to be a digital key for apple soon after my purchase. It’s 2022 now without the digital key…

actually I am using my iphone to open my Hyundai (2022) , but it's not touch to handle but it's application on my phone where you have remote controlled commands ;lock-unlock,locate vehicle and few more . And it's better since you don't have to be next to the car, you can turn ac on still shopping , or close doors from home, or...find your car on parking lock. Not bad .

Iphones are a load of wank. Apple aren't known for playing nicely with other brands (check their bullshit lightning adapter that doesn't work with anything else)

I see people saying that Hyundai needs to add the digital key to Apple. at the end of the day also an apple needs to do that as well cuz there's agreements that have to come to this and Hyundai can do it but it's up to Apple to do something about it as well

Where is a list of what android phones / OS have the "compatible" NFC? Since new FOB & programming is over $400 here, worth exploring new phone. My 2022 MOTO is not compatible.

Unfortunately digital key is a complete mess of a launch simulator to apple's CarPlay launch by Hyundai/Genesis. Missing the mark as many users have iPhone, the largest cellphone used in todays market. Leaving many 2020 and up owners out and dry. Even with digital key2 forcing you to purchase a 2023 model if you can find one? I am not sure what is going on with their software devision but it sucks. Including their Bluelink software, as features of past no longer works. Don't sign on the dotted line until you get everything to work.

Did you have issues with your wireless charger? I have a pixel 4a 4g and a Motorola one 5g ace and it doesn't connect. But my salesman put his iphone on it and it charge instantly

I already have a my hyundia account, but it won't let me login to the digital key account. Do I need to create a different login account for the digital key app??

We advise logging into your MyHyundai account in a web browser, selecting My Account in the main menu where in the My Vehicle tab you can see if you have enrolled into the Digital Key service. ^cc

I just bought a 2024 Santa Cruz SEL. Does my vehicle support this feature or not? I can't see how to enable it any where. I get the same error @cf6959 gets. "There is no customer information. Your Hyundia Digital Key account has not been activated..." @@hyundai

Guys, the digital key is like apple Pay or Samsung wallet. that's basically where this function comes from. Apparently appl dont want these futures on there phone, just get an android for now or just use your keys, lol

Interesting - just bought a Kona limited and Hyundai sends me an email with a link to show me how to install/create the digital key and it doesn't work on Apple - good grief - leaving Apple folks out is a huge miss - and from the thread I see it's been going on for a long time without any response from Hyundai - hmmm do they really care???

I want to use wireless CarPlay and car key with my 2017 Hyundai Tucson. It's not that old. There has to be a grandfather option.

Hyundai I am woken almost nightly by the HONK LOCK on your vehicles PLEASE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME!!!! There is no need for LOUD to notify drivers that there cars are locked. A Super soft electronic beep can do that and not wake people or stress them out Please … think of our communities wellbeing.

@@susieq8752 I so appreciate your trying. Thank you but they are giving you a line An excuse. This is the reason they can be told if you happen to see them again. Toyota as an example uses a Low Electronic Tone , easily heard forLock and Arm purposes that is Easily heard by the car dri er who is locking the car. I was not refering to the regular horn used in traffic situations. I am talking about the Horn Blast while clicking the fob while locking the car. IE GMCs FORDS JEEPS DODGE and more. May I ask what make of car? Again they are blowing you off which is what they do. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, Digital Key is only currently available on Android phones. We hope to have it available on iPhone soon!

@@patricknedz it does. It also works on Bluetooth in the background so you don't even need to bring your phone out of your pocket. You just walk up to the car and its unlocked for you.

@@jmjones7742 I love that feature on Tesla, even though I don’t have one right now. I’m waiting till they can get longer mile range per charge and faster charging than having to wait awhile on road trips to get back on the road again. I like how Tesla the digital keys work great and you can easily set the climate control from your phone and get things heated up quickly wi hour having to start an engine or anything.
