CREATING YOUR OWN VACUUM CHAMBER
There are special food storage attachments, which can only be used to vacuum seal specific jar types. In the US, you have these FoodSaver gadgets, but will only work on sealing Mason Jars. But what if you want to use other jars to vacuum seal, that no such commercially sold attachments exist?
The solution? Make your own VACUUM CHAMBER!
The principle is simple. Find a large jar that the smaller jar that you plan to vacuum seal will fit inside it. Use a cylindrical cap, where you can put a whole in the middle that a "Break Bleeder" hose can be inserted upon. You then cap the large jar with the small jar inside. You then have your very own homemade vacuum chamber!
