A look at how to duplicate a Skyrim world space using TES5Edit and Creation Kit.
I copy and prepare Dayspring Canyon from the Dawnguard DLC for a project that I'm working on.
Tools used are TES5Edit and Creation Kit. I also assume that the viewer has a basic knowledge of TES5Edit. I do not look at creating LOD in this.
Hope this video is of some help to anybody wanting to do similar.

Walking through these steps but i seem to be replacing the worldspace I am trying to copy, instead of creating a completely new worldspace.

I haven't done this myself since I made this video. I had to watch it again to refreash my memory. In the first section, did you "deep copy as override" into a "new mod" and give it a name? That will create the new esp for you. Without closing TES5Edit you then need to remove unwanted files as master. In this case I wanted to remove Dawnguard and not have a dependency on other mods while editing my new one. (Keeping in mind that, if I add any Dawnguard stuff in the future, it will return.) Also, make sure your new esp is enabled and loads. Also be sure to change/delete the names of the cells in your new mod, including the world space name..

@@KriemenGaming I ended up doing the copy in CK by going to World->World spaces...-> *Rightclick*->duplicate. I did not need to remove a dependency for the one i was doing (deepwood redoubt). Hopefully this works as well and will not lead to any issues!

Is it possible to recreate all of the skyrim world space? I have been at it for a while and it keeps crashing the CK.

That is something I have never tried, so I cannot honestly say yes or no. You will have to be sure to remove anything that has a dependency on something in the Tamriel world space from your new one. That would include objects and markers that are referenced, location data, doors etc. Error checking with TES5Edit would be an absolute must.
