When Mimi needed repairs you should have unironically made engineer hit Mimi insanely hard with the wrench to fix her.

No matter what anyone may say about the Mimi-Sentry, it inarguably proves that Engie is a good dad.

The part where she ripped her gun off to activate engi's frontier justice crits is so insanely creative

If Valve still did the Saxxy Awards, this would absolutely win.

This heavily reminds me of old SFMs for when the Saxxy Awards still existed, like Little Guardian Pyro and even stuff that The Winglet used to do. You guys feel me?

I love how the community's interpretation of Mimi swings from Cutesy Waifu to Ferral Killing Machine like a metronome

The thing I like about this, is it gives Mimi a actual reason to exist. Most just used her to be creepy, for jokes, and thats it. This definitely makes Mimi seem better

Slowly but surely Engie got his very own family, of his own design, to care, to love and to protect red's intel. Such a proud dad.

How the team sees Engineers Family Scout: loves them, since he was the runt of his brothers he can finally be a good big brother. Keeps bonk away from them. Sniper: Indifferent, sees them very interesting. Likes to teach Mimi how to shoot at range. Placing bottles and cans to see who can shoot the most. Soldier: Loves them, has them participate in his morning excersizes and is a hype man. Imagine soldier rucking with the buildings Spy: likes them but is wary, due to how “cuddly” they can be on his suit. Similar to sniper, he trains them in art of shooting. Heavy: loves them like small child, sees them like how he sees Sasha, cute killing machines. Likes to help keep them clean. Medic: more interested in how they were built, keeps trying to take one while engineer isn’t looking. Usually is caught by engi, heavy or pyro Pyro: loves them, is usually the one who baby sits and protects them when engineer isn’t around. Demo: loves them, is the cool uncle and loves to goof off with them. Has a habit of chasing them when they take his scrumpy.

All I can say: “Ain’t that a cute lil gun!” What a beautiful and cute animation depicting engine as such an amazing father figure not only to his creations but his family.

I loved the idea of mimi ripping off a turret to give engie crits for the frontier justice.

Engineer is such a proud papa of his daughters. Love how the mimi sentry is portrayed as the big sister and the dispenser girl is like the new addition to the family. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Man, I've never felt better seeing a video that could finally do Mimi justice. This is definitely one of my favorite SFM animations of all time.

Honestly I love the interpretation of Engie as a wholesome loving dad to his creations.

I forgot to mention this when i found this but this was my first mimi sentry video i watched and i have to say my expectations was blown away. The characters, the animation and even the post credit scene was great. This was a helluva introduction to the robot girl rabbit hole that i also joined soon after. The potential these girls bring to animation is seeminly limitless and i cant wait for more. Also i thought it was cute how giddy mimi/senthia got when she found out she has a little brother(dell spencer)

I love that the engineer at first is just building from scrap out of necessity to create the first Mimi-sentry. It's only after the fight that he put actual consideration into the designs and perfected them.

I've always liked the concept of mimi, but it's usually ruined by the internet, but THIS!? this is amazing!

But Conagher is a special case.

Despite the visceral reaction this character tends to get from a large segment of the community, it's clear a lot of effort and care went into this animation. Really awesome job.

This Heavily reminded me of the old SFM animations but like a remaster. I guess it hit home but this is a work of art.

The struggles as an Engineer main, now alleviated with Mimi Sentry. Besides the design looking unironically good, one thing I really like about these animations is how they always pair Engie and her up with Engie’s main counters (Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, and Spy especially) just to show what they can both do against them in comparison to Engie’s main toolkit. And let me tell you, it’s CATHARTIC to see as an Engie main myself.

the idea of engineer having a robot daughter is really wholesome and I'm sad this isn't canon, since it'd fit engineer so well.

At 6:30, the only explanation as to why Engie is so late is probably because Spy got to him on the back and has to wait to respawn. And Engie has to go from the back just so he can save Mimi Sentry in time before Spy got to her. The hallways on where Engie was at the timestamp wasn't that long so Engie could've gotten there before Heavy is even dead.

aside from the brutal, merciless, killing machine of war, it's very wholesome how Engie and his Sentries are like father and daughters to each other

I always felt Mimi was a product of Engineer coping with loosing his only daughter to a home invader while he was away on a mission. After seeing Grey Mann's machines, the Idea came to him to combine his turrets weapons and targeting systems with the mobility of the machines. He would try to make a new daughter, one that could protect herself should he not be there to defend her. Medic, being concerned with Engineer's well being, confronted him at one point during her construction Medic: This won't bring her back. Engineer: I know, but I just want to feel something again.....

One of the best TF2 Animation I have seen so far. Is been years and this video really made me surprise over the concept of Mimi-sentry. Is a good creation idea I have seen. Keep it up the good work

Not only well Animated and Awesome but also a accurate presentation that Engineer is the only one defending while the rest of the Team is somewhere else

this feels like a winglet animation, everyone has that proper animated theatrical flair to their movement in all the right ways its so enjoyable to watch, and the random shots of them just walking around with live recorded gameplay in sfm and only ingame animations feels almost surreal EDIT: oh god i liked the ending when i thought he was rebuilding the mini sentry and upgrading it to a level 1, but then it looks more like its his kid when we walk outside and see the lvl 3 that feels portrayed as his wife and its all lost on me

I like how mimi was created to solve a practical problem. Sentries are limited in their mobility. A sentry that could tear you limb from limb all while doing summersaults would be a terrifying enemy.

I think Mimi sentry got so over saturated as a meme that people forgot that engineer building a killer robot daughter is actually a cool concept. Glad to see someone finally do it justice.

I think the thing I love the most about this are the subtle references to other SFM creators. I can tell that crash maul is a big inspiration for your animation style, and I absolutely love it!

ARIA's theme fits Mimi so well. Also, it's so nice to see a lengthy, quality animation without Mimi-Sentry just steamrolling the enemy team. Well, yes, she's steamrolling them, but not without difficulty. And resulting fight scenes are so good!

I like the Mimi sentry model alot, in fact it's my favorite gmod model. What you did here is perfection. No horny bait, no bait and switch animation claiming mimi is horny bait, just a damn good animation of Mimi being herself. Good job.

Idk if it’s just a design problem but I would like to think the teleporter twins would have hover boards as their teleporter part and when deployed they just step off em and make ‘em spin on the floor. That way you have a speedy lil teleporter bot that zips on a hoverboard across the map to bring bots and mercs alike to the frontlines. Also ngl this is the best representation of mimi in-canon.
