I love using Creative Fabrica designs for print on demand-I can create t-shirts, coffee mugs, poster prints and all sorts of print-on-demand merchandise. In this video, I cover 4 different file types (SVG, PNG, EPS and DXF files). I also show some examples of why you would want to use that certain file type versus something else.

Can you download and open png files on an android phone automatically or do you need to download an app to do that?

May I ask you a question. I want to design a baby blanket. If I try in Canva it’s extremely hard and a lot of steps just to get a pattern or repeating pattern (for a background for example) to be big enough to scale out for the blanket. Also if you use their max 5000x5000 and upload-reupload so I can duplicate them down to 4 more perfect squares-but my images won’t allow me to move them? I have to be doing something there too. But say I want to design a baby milestone blanket-I don’t know how to take an element from there and size up large enough for example a panda or rainbow for middle of blanket and have other objects around it smaller or even clip art from CF to scale that big. If I would take a graphic from CF and want to move or change colors do I need a SVG or AI and upload to Photopea or PixLr?? Idk how to use those too much- but Jay on “Fixed Point” has made a few videos on editing uses the black SVG and uploads there to separate the elements to move, add color ect. Sometimes 2 letters may be connected so in that case I wouldn’t be able to have each individual letter a different color or if so not sure how to do that. I’ve never used Photoshop, adobe or Inkscape nor do I have money for more subscriptions or learn all of that to fully design myself. I’m a single mom who works FT and trying to find income on Etsy -but I don’t want to only do T-Shirts which is most of the videos for POD. They tell us to sale other items but they don’t explain the difference or difficulty in enlarging items. I do have Canva Pro, Kittl and CF. Can you tell me if I need Inkscape to make these changes so I can create, download from CF and customize more and offer personalization. There a very few maybe 3-4 videos for large POD such as blankets. I also wanted to do the all over print-such as a name or birthdate, weight, ect but you need some sort of word generator like a shape cloud -maybe put in a rectangle, so it becomes the right shape for a blanket-CF has a word cloud but it only allows one font where I see on Etsy they are listing multiple fonts, colors and patterns. So no reason to use CF when the competition is offering a lot more variety and cheap? I know they aren’t going in and manually changing the name or info buyer wants to each one individually. And they have to be using another fulfillment co other than printful or printify with prices down to 19.99! Just for basic all over name blankets. Any help would be appreciated and if you’ve covered this or know word generators to use or print providers that integrate please link me info, and ANY information would be so greatly appreciated! Ty for all your videos!! Oh-in kittl with their templates scale out big enough for a blanket? Or would you still need to take a lot of steps like Canva?

Hi! Sorry I just want to make sure I am understanding the question - are you asking how to make a repeating pattern easily, or how to create a large-scale design (like larger than 5000 x 5000 on Canva)?

@@zenwatercooler the main question is how to create a graphic or even use one or clip art from CF, Canva or Kittl-and design my own but the whole design is one grouped and large enough to be put on a large product such as a big blanket and it keep its resolution. I think I can do a repeating pattern via Canva-it’s a bit tedious, but it’s ok. However, if I go in Canva-5000x5000 artboard and design a blanket upload to Printify it’s not able to fill the entire area without the dpi dropping. If I upload on from CF same thing-unless I wasn’t using correct file type?? But I want it personalized so, I don’t want to just upload someone else design and not make changes. And idk if Kittl is a better place to design and maybe then it would be simpler for a milestone baby blanket” ?. Idk if that helps or not.

I recommend May Aroyo on here for showing the many other things you can design for POD. She doesn't do many t-shirts! Also, have you looked at Zazzle for personalisation?

@@sarahainsworth9539 ok. I will. Ty!! I haven’t looked at Zazzel. I know I can upload products to sale there, but I was trying to create a large enough template for a blanket for an Etsy listing. I’m trying so hard at this POD, but I am having a lot of issues. And nobody to ask. Courses are fine, but you still can’t ask a module. Maybe Zazzel would be better for now…until someone shows me how to create a large enough or scaleable file to upload to Printify, ect. Idk the Zazzel audience but do people sell a lot on there? I know they are like RB and Amazon as far they take care of all printing which is fine unless you are more brand specific. I appreciate you asking and info. I will see if she has any videos for what I’m looking for or if she’s able to reply. Ty again

It really doesn't matter how small a PNG or JPEG is. You can always make it bigger.
