Soooooo....what it took you more than the 30 day spacing to memorize a scripture in the daily? 👉👈 I would like to use a pink highlighter over the days that I reviewed, but if I had a lot of spaces that didn't get highlighted and it's already at the end of 30 days, what would you do since you already wrote out all of the other daily scriptures that were next? This is the kind of thing that would make me want to crawl back to digital. So I can delete and move stuff around more freely. Lol 😅
Josh, thanks for this channel. This is now how I do my topical memorization. I started by doing longer passages, but have been trying to become more fluent in those power verses. This system allows me to add a ton of verses really quick and trust that they will eventually stick. A killer video.
Thank you Josh. Yah i didn’t think about how me just typing on my Bible Memory App all the time might not be good for my son to see. Its the same thought as me actually using and reading my Bible instead of using the phone. Thank u for this!
I agree, that's a great point! 👍 I'd love more if possible. It's hard for me to let go of the control. I can't simply move and delete stuff in a paper journal. How do you know how many pages to give yourself for the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually?
Good info. I've also seen a similar system using index cards. Moving the card from daily to monthly to quarterly dividers. Thank you for encouraging memorization

Hello, I have a question. How many days after I memorized a book, should I repeat it daily? I tried every day, but it takes so much time and I don’t have time for memorizing a new book, and also I’m afraid of not forget it. Thanks in advance 😁
When doing spaced repetition, you want to repeat the passage (or alternate passages, if it’s too long) every day until you feel like you know it. Then move to once a week, and do that for 1-3 months. The move to once every three months or longer. The idea is to memorize it well and then review it only as often as your brain needs to make sure it’s still a good memory. 👍🏻
This is exactly what I need. I’ve memorized many verses and used a Bible App but I definitely need the tactile notebook method. I even tried using note cards but this way is so much better. Here’s where I could get confused with this and need help figuring it out. I can write my individual verses down to memorize and review etc. But would I need a different notebook if I want to memorize the sermon on the mount or a book of the Bible? Maybe I use a whole notebook with dividers for all this but then I would start a new one for monthly, annually and yearly. Help. I feel like I’m confusing myself or making it more difficult than it is.
That’s great, Cindy! If I were you, I would try using a separate notebook for a book of the Bible and see how it works. If you want to add other verses to it, you can.
