Creative ideas from cement and Wood Pallet - Great Garden Decoration from Recycled | Diy Aquarium from Wood plallet, towel and cement Thanks for Watching! Like and Share!
A garden water feature for nothing but a bit of hard work.... very creative indeed ! I love the sound of running water in a garden, nice and relaxing, Don't really need the fish. Could fill it with water plants...... Well done Mr DIY👍👍
Yes, making something else out of the idea would be much better. Well cover is a great idea. Use a stainless steel or other mesh also as 1st layer, then cloth to the shape you want. When dry, turn over and use spray insulation on the inside for the insulation factor for winter. Maybe insert a hand hold at bottom somewhere so you can lift it later on.
You can only respect the ingenuity and effort that went in. Will the cement chemicals leech into the water? Yes. Will the pallet treatment fail in the water and leech? Yes Will the spray paint and plastic contaminate the water? Yes But it was still so intriguing to watch 😊
@@blastermaster2383 this comment is just an example of how people think they should make a snarky rude comment these days on something they will never attempt for fear of failure. Rude, obnoxious and only served your purpose to be mean in spirit.
I think that was adorable but with all that talent I would’ve made it much much more bigger for them. With homemade talent the dimensions could’ve been endless for them👍
His wife's response, " oh honey that's a beautiful fish tank, by the way where are all my towels?", . Pretty good job there. Using a level would help..
The fish will be lucky to last a week, no filters, over crowded, chemicals from cement, and in that week they're gunna suffer in a shanty aquarium swimming about in their own waste.
All other things said, that electrical cord needs a loop in it. The minute a drop of water gets on the wire going down, its going straight into your plug and thats a problem. You need to elevate the plug so water goes down the wire, and drips off the loop to avoid this.
@Jicari Hickory Hill I have every right to voice my opinion, whether you agree to it or not, if you want play the "think about the human race first" card, we (the human race) evolved from fish, plus every innocent living thing deserves to live. You pal are an idiot.
Only watched a bit. When he touched that skill saw blade I thought. Woah Then mixing the cement in a bowl on that really nice floor. Second woah😮 That’s it. Moving on
I agree. I wish people would keep their rude opinions to themselves. Most likely anyone who has something negative to say has never got their hands dirty in their life! Haters belong on an island with nothing but others to there judge them! As they say if you have nothing nice to say. One must not forget. Whether you believe in God and his funny sense of humor. Or karma, which is a beautiful thing because she always shows up! When I read comments and see grown adults bullying others like a child with no guidance its not at all an attractive attribute to me.
Great video making good use of items many just throw away. Some people can't get anything done unless they have a hard hat, goggles, building permit and a big box store with lots of tools!
Omg. My OCD was going crazy with the hack brickwork but that was nothing g compared to the cutting of the plastic bottle with the circular saw 😝. Seriously it’s something my ten year old daughter would make and I’d have to say “looks good honey “
One guarantee is that sooner or later all concrete / cement cracks . . .even if it's inches thick. This somewhat flexible tarp coated in cement and sitting in wet environment will soon be leaking (sooner rather than later!). The comments I have seen about fish waking up to an aquarium filled with air are pretty much right on.
Won't the exposed wood rot in time from sitting in the water? Also, if those boards are chemically treated it will leech into the water and possibly poison the fish. I usually support your creations but this one leaves me with more questions than joy. Final thought, from what I learned at a neighborhood aquarium is that this set up is much too small for the size and number of fish that were just put in. This is one of those times I feel it important to ask questions and share knowledge. Thank you for sharing ideas that inspire so many.
The cement will kill the fish never mind the possibility of the wood being treated with anything and yeah the wood will rot within weeks sitting in water
@@trails7416 I looked it up and found that fish ponds, from small to very large, must be either sealed with a special plastic liner or with a sealant that is applied like paint. I enjoy social media for the learning that comes from people joining in a conversation. I also am grateful to this man for his videos as they are entertaining to watch, inspire so many to try something new and, like now, brings about questions we share answers to. Once the inside of my apartment is done I have my eye on making bird baths and feeders for my 6th floor balcony. It isn't big but plenty of room for the many birds from tiny hummingbirds to large red-tail hawks and many.....many...more🐦🦅🦉🦇👀yep, bats too!😀
I didn't even pay attention to the tank aspect, I just took the method from the video. Towels and cement and gravity? It is like Paper Mache'. You could use this technique for 1,000 different things. Planters. Raised gardens. Sculpture. Fire pits. Endless
@@No.1CreativeCementIdeas but what keeps it from cracking? Usually cement needs metal structure inside like wire mesh, fencing, or rebar, especially when it's thin. It looks like the concrete could break easily
ÍNCREÍBLES IDEAS ,PRÁCTICAS Y BIENEN BIEN CUANDO UNO NO TIENE RECURSOS,PARA COMPRAR MUEBLES Y ASÍ QUEDA ¡¡¡¡ESPECTACULAR,CON POCO SE PUEDE HACER MUCHO ??!!!..¿¿¿¿GRACIASS CHICOS ??!!!!.. CÓRDOBA ARGENTINA.
Why couldn't I look away? Idk how this got in my feed, but the train-wreck was so horrid I just couldn't look away. I seriously hope nobody EVER does this.
Some people need to chill a bit in the comments.. This may not be visually the most aesthetically pleasing project, but I do have to give him props for using a lot of recycling products. I agree about the fact that it may not have been the best idea to make out of it an aquarium because of the chemicals and a few other things, but for me it was really impressive to see the bunch of things you can create with recycled stuff! Hang in there, haha it may not be one of the cleanest projects, and I really hope the fish are doing well (I am not trying to sound rude, but I think it's best to put those fish in a new tank 😅). Anyway, thanks for posting this video, it may have its rough edges, but we all make a few mistakes here and there, I hope you're getting better overall! Stay safe, have a nice day! 😊
You dont have to know anything to know all the cement water will kill the fish and then you can see clearly the pond is waaaay to small for even one fish. Its like a fish prison. Till you die.
Pallets are heat treated not pressure treated with chemicals, harmless, grow your vegetables in them as well, concrete is fine used to line reservoirs and dams, koi will grow and be moved to a larger pond I imagine, they aren’t idiots.
@ Mario Fernandez I think this could work as an aquarium. I love the design. Filtration is the same concept of that using 55 gallon drums and biomedia for a pond. More frequent water changes may be necessary. Seems to be shaded area so the water should not get overly warm. This so totally doable.
I give it to them for being creative but this video should be called: "The World's most biggest pile crap thrown together"...i'm sorry, I know opinions very but I just don't think it looks that great...watched tbis whole 15 min video and feel disappointed at the end...
