@@CatapultCarnage red bull can is different from other cans, it takes at least 100m/s to pass through one with 8mm steel ball,130m/s to pass through two!
That turned out amazing. I love the fact that you wanted to use that piece because you knew it would have awesome grain patterns. The blue was an outstanding finish. Thanks for sharing
Stunner Chris 🧐🧐💪,u said "go with the natural shape of the original fork",that's something I aim for before I even cut the fork.u sure have brought the best outta that fork 😎👍
How I roll, like the free carve. When the handle is tilted, I call them a TILT. The way you are shooting is the way that I shoot them, it is very natural (no pun) We all roll a bit different. I leave the branch long and carve grip, moving to the forks, lopping to length more toward finish. The last is my tops.
Wow, for starters, I wish my workshop was as big, let alone the tools. The catapult was amazing dude, I've made a few but nothing to compete with that. Thanks for some new ideas, it was epic. I have a few of mine on my channel that I did a couple of years back. I'm out in the woods tomorrow, cheers.
Awesome video Chris 🤜🤛 I cringed like hell when u branded it, had visions of the iron slipping and hitting the palm of ya hand and branding u for life 🤪🤪🤪
Looks really good Chris. I did something similar, enhanced the grain with colour. leaving a strip of bark on one side of one of the forks... then I hit it with polyurethane rattle can, which in this case really worked. Looks really good (even if I do say so myself) worth a try 👍🏻
Great Tutorial! ..I have been making my own for years and just carve away at in with my saw and knife until a shape i like starts to form and then the technical bit starts and thats where i start to come adrift!😆😆 cheers anyway like that shape ..you could see the potential in it!
Brother fantastic build👏🤯👍 always love your content. All I do on my channel is long distance shooting or hard shots. Again , Great Vids and I look forward your next.
You catapults are really nice. But looking through all the places you post your products there is no information about purchasing, shipping, nothing?where do I go to shop and purchase?
That's very nice, I've got some beautiful offcuts of Turkish walnut left over from gunstock making, do you think it would be strong enough with the grain going lengthways
I like your new natural quite a lot! Do you like those bands? They sound very strange.. who makes your favorite band? I watched an old video from thorsten? He used 3 band each side therra band blue & very tapered for 3/8 steel he said the velocity would be very high. Does the new band material today perform as good Chris?
