For the sake of comparison to be more on par with Pro's settings, could you turn off on X's the EQ, Surround, Crystalizer, Surround Mode set to Effects Off? I suspect that volume gain on the X are because of that, I have Pro's and from tech specs should sound almost the same as X (peak power 60W) and would be a big disappointment to buy them from another country just to find out is very small to none difference. Another reason why Im asking this, I've installed Dolby Atmos for headphones, activated on Pro's (I know sounds weird) that instantly reminded the surround feature from X and with music profile now the Pro's are louder and more powerful - sounds better, so I've wondered if all that new features on the X are making them sound louder and better. Thanks, keep up the good work
It’d be great if you had slightly longer sound samples and clearly labeled… by the time I realise you’ve switched, I’m trying to work out which one I was just listening to, and then we’re onto the next one That said, thanks for comparing them at all, hardly anyone else has. Thanks
I just tried that as I have one set on each computer in the studio. The X Plus without the sub connected sounds like the normal X. Cant notice any difference tbh.
@@Ryaniwkso the missing passive Drivers on the back off the X Plus make no difference? Find that hard do believe tbh. 🤔 I've the Pro currently and I am thinking about to upgrade to the X without sub, just because they now seem to have a good weight on each speaker (600 Gramms each) compared to the Pro (~350 with differences between left and right) because the Pro are moving themselves on the desk at higher volumes... So your Opinion is very important to me right now man. 😉👍🏻😁
